While it's great what evga is doing it would be nice for some non-ultra cards. I understand the ultra cards are the most demanding, there are other skus too and they haven't been even touched. At least split the incoming stock 80/20 or something.

I agree. My preference would be that they at least start with all of the queues, even if there is going to be a slow trickle or gap between drops on the non-flagship cards. Although...I do wonder whether the start and stop nature of that approach will generate greater angst as we wait for the drip, drip, drip of cards on the slower queues. TLDR; difficult questions all around and no easy answers.

I just heard there will be no 3080 20gb. Now I feel bad I passed on the 3080 FTW3 Ultra as I was notified on day one. O-well, my loss and someones gain. Back to the end of the list for me, LOL.
Still just rumor/speculation. In fact, the existence of the 3080 20GB itself is only rumor.
agree..while i still think this first release are pawns in some larger scheme.due to the vram sizes(granted stll want a 3080)
there is way to large a gap between the 3080 and 3090 its a huge hole.by all rights the cards should have been at least 3070 10gb
3080 12gb 3080ti 16gb and 3090 24gb.the hole will be fill question is when and the final vram size.16GB would have been the perfect card

The only gap between the 3080 and 3090 is in vram size. There just isn't a performance based slot, especially for what the price point would have to be.
but there is 7nm faster speed less power draw less vram than the 3090 so the 3090 buyers dont feel so but hurt oh theres a angle im sure of it.i say 6mths all this will make sense.

 Great.... Just got my LG CX55" and can't wait till I can game on the 3090..... I still got awhile as my date is Oct 3 but I hope they start pushing more through soon.... Oh well....At least I got my trusty old 2080 Ti hybrid to keep me in the game until I can get my 3090

We are adding to it everyday. If you know people, send them in. The more we get, the more accurate the spreadsheet becomes (it will never be 100%, of course). And it is an imperfect tool; in many respects each addition now provides only diminishing returns...we have enough in the system where we can see approximately where the line has moved with each drop.

I am pretty impressed that EVGA has a guy out there on social media trying to keep people informed and up to date on supply as best he can. Are other AIBs doing this? Where is Nvidia? Are they taking responsibility for the complete lack of movement on Best Buys site?

From everything I can gather from the tweets and the spreadsheet, there is a one large drop of emails per week, followed by much smaller drops the rest of the week. If that pattern continues, we're only moving a few minutes this week until next week. If the 8:00 AM hour is about as big at the 7, I don't see us getting to 9 AM for at least 2 weeks from now if not 3 weeks, unless drops get considerably more frequent or larger. But given the info provided, I don't think that's going to happen to a significant degree. If Enewt is correct, and the ratio of those on the spreadsheet who are not signed up is smaller past the 9 AM hour, we should see acceleration about mid to late November.
Stay positive everybody. The line is moving and I suspect a lot of cards are going out, the queue is just very long.

The spreadsheet is useful. It’s useful because it makes some of us know we will not get our gpu this way. Too far down list
Seeing the queue move 5-10 minutes a week, still being on the wee hours of the 17th, and it still even being on the 17th 3 weeks later could have told you that. If things don't pick up early November, then not even many people on the 17th will get their cards until December, if even. I'm hoping the XC3 Ultras queue really helps here, and I'm just waiting for the week in queue we jump like an hour instead, because THAT will be useful information. We all need to be a little patient. The reason why we are crawling through 9/17 is because that's when the VAST majority of the people clicked auto-notify. That's the day the 3080's went on sale. I was slow and didn't check until the evening of the 17th. My auto-notify time stamps are between 8:22-8:24PM PDT on the 17th, so I might as well be on the other side of the galaxy at the moment. I don't expect to get any emails before Thanksgiving. That's the world we live in right now. Everything is ******. It's not all bad news though. Human nature dictates that a significant number of people who clicked auto notify won't actually buy a card for one reason or another. It's free and takes but a second to click on a button. It's another thing to shell out $800 for a GPU, especially when you're a 12 year old kid who's dreaming about Xmas presents that your parents will never buy for you. You know there are some of those. And there are a lot more who will change their mind, or get a card another way before they get a notification email from EVGA. The downside of this is it slows everything down tremendously due to the 5 hour window. I wish it was more like a 2-3 hour window, but I'm sure some will disagree. I would keep checking other vendors. If you were late getting on the auto notify list (after 9/17), you will probably be able to buy a card through another vendor before your EVGA number comes up. Once we get past the 9/17 time stamps I bet it will start to move a lot faster.

They are going in exact order, as far as I understand. Somewhere the information is incorrect, or someone lied on the sheet, or different model etc.

A lot! For some of the big European retailers who are providing queue data, the largest queues are in the 4000 range, mainly for the Asus TUF cards. Some of the less popular brands are under 1000. So in essence it would eliminate some large retailer queues instantly. Complete speculation, but I suspect a large drop direct for EVGA would only be a few hundred. But remember, they are also supplying retailers all over the world. So they may be getting thousands of cards, but they need to spread it across a ton of retail.
