We do not have visibility into the allocations.

This is something that I wish we could some sense of.  It would let me know whether I should go back to trying to get the card I want from external sites versus just wait for an email from EVGA (which is my preference). But since I only really wanted the xc3 ultra, I didn't put in notification requests at the time for FTW's or especially the 3090.  But then, I tried the old f5 method for the first two weeks until I realized the bots were eating the cards!

Based on the "auto-notify" dates in your signature and that you are specifically targeting the XC3 family of 3080s, I anticipate it will be December 8 before you get an email invite to buy off of the queue.  Plan accordingly.

Jacob has indicated via tweet earlier this morning that the FTW3 Ultra 3080s emails will go out later in the week; unlikely to be today.

I don't know if it's me or if I missed something somewhere, or if there's something I don't see but in the case of 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming it feels like they are sending 5-10 cards a day, if even that... At this rate they will never fulfill all orders before the 40xx is out. And they keep saying (EVGA/Jacob) since the past couple of weeks that production is ramping up and more should come etc... but there doesn't seem to be any kind of improvement at all.

Why are they coming out so ridiculously slow? I can understand the whole COVID thing but so little cards every day, and sometimes none at all? Something feels VERY wrong here...

Again it feels and seems that way to me from what I can see.

Sure but a good portion of their stock goes to other etailers. A few hundred cards per week at the eVGA store (10 per day for only 2 models is already 100/week) is nothing to scoff at.

100 a week is nothing... They should be able to move at least 5 times that.

Oh well this is frustrating for everyone unfortunately... :(

It's a perception of working with limited data.

Early reports suggest around 50k people signing up for the notification (if that number is to be believed in the first place) when it was first announced, and the Google doc is only up to ~3300. That's only 6.5% of potential customers on EVGA site only.

Then EVGA also supplies partner sites and different regions (however limited they may be).

You also have to keep into consideration the distribution of sign ups. I'd imagine most people clicked notification button on day one.... so for all we know, in case of FTW3 Ultra, that could mean 20k users signed up on that day (a completely random number I just made up), but only small percentage of them read this forum or reddit, and are not on the Google doc.

We simply do not have enough data to say that they are only shipping 5-10 cards a day. EVGA may very well be shipping 500-1000 cards a day, but if only 5-10 people report it here... than what can you do?

Yeah I know makes sense... Just wish EVGA would let us in on their number or something more so we can have an idea of what's going on instead of extrapolating and guessing with very limited data.

I'm not saying that they are not transparent, Jacob is doing an awesome job so far and everyone else at EVGA too, but it COULD be a lot better instead of feeding us randomly with extremely limited information that doesn't say s*** about what's going on...

On that front they are seriously lacking... Like how hard would it be from Jacob or someone else at EVGA to let us know how many cards are on their way approximately for X and Y day/week? It's not that hard...

Without a doubt, Jacob is being forced to operate in the constraints of Nvidia's agreement and EVGA's competitive position in relation to other AIB's.

So...extrapolate what you will...EVGA is shipping less than a 100 cards per week to direct customers. You still can't find ANY 3XXX series at all the usual locations unless you win the F5 lottery. So, supply is extremely constrained (if not, EVGA would be shipping 500 or 1,000 cards a week), and demand is high. Lots of Maxwell and Pascal users deciding now is the time.

I agree. I wish the logistical stock numbers were more transparent, instead of vague words like "big" and "small". But he is doing a lot more than any other company in regards to this card, so I can't knock him.
