I'm in the same place as you, zeeesooor ! So close to the finish line, and a huge stall. At least it may still come. I've been fearing it being discontinued or something. Congrats to the new 3897 owners!

WARNING! THIS IS THE EU QUEUE! For the North American Queue status, please refer to enewt's posts.

Good Evening, here is the daily status for the EU queues.
The EU queues have recorded the first weekend movement with some drops on the 3070 XC3 Ultra queue. Unfortunatley these orders are for a time before the latest report, meaning the clock has retracted on this line.
We also have a late report for the 3060 drop last Friday, another 2 more seconds, how many more clicks can be fitted into those seconds before we hit the first minute? Stay tuned for the next show.

It would be interesting to see a chart of how many EVGA forum accounts were signed up for every year. Any bets that half the existing accounts are from the last few months as people desperately try to get a GPU?

Regardless, I wish everyone luck with the GPU scramble. (At this rate, everyone is wishing Intel had their GPUs available this year, but seems like they missed the boat.)

So, opening up the floor for some friendly speculation (not complaining, just having a little thought experiment about what's currently going on):

There has been a massive slowdown of SKUs going out through the queue, mostly in terms of 3070's, 3080's and 3090's. I'm not sure to say whether more or less or the same amount have been going out to retailers (definitely not much available here in Canada). I'm beginning to wonder whether NVIDIA is simply running out of chips? Could this actually happen? I know they always have to very carefully plan how much they will make from the start, so they don't produce too much, and once they start producing new chips they basically completely stop making old models. I know that this whole debacle has been unprecedented, and the demand has been way higher than expected. Just wondering if it would actually be possible for them to run out. Of course, they would never tell us.

in the Newegg Shuffle, i've been regularly seeing 3060, 3070, and 3090 the past few weeks, but a 3080 in the shuffle is rare.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2021/04/12 15:26:13 (permalink)
Remember back approximately 210 days ago, when the talk of the PC gaming enthusiast crowds was the question of whether their card would "win the silicon lottery"?  Folks were so focused on giving voice to the hope that instead of any unit of your preferred 30 series card model being sufficient...that gamers would buy and resell cards until s/he found a particular unit of that model that might be "extra extra."  FOL! (In case it isn't clear, the last two words from the acronym are "our" and "lives".)

As of about 6:01 am on 9/17, it has been pretty darn clear that we were all speaking from a perspective of absurd privilege...like fishermen debating how to divide up the day's catch before even walking down the dock to the boat in the morning. And every weekday since, I have been reminded of how innocent, ignorant and naïve I was...the idea of being able to purchase a mainstream computer component from the manufacturer's online storefront or mainstream, non-membership-based big box retailers at launch or within a few days of launch....thankfully I have never had to experience breadlines or scarcity of something that truly, fundamentally matters.

I am astounded that it has taken me so long to appreciate that I have been living out John Cleese's character arc in this famous sketch (minus the violence, of course...never acceptable)...and EVGA's online store remains, to this day, "the finest in the district."

Whatever your preferred flavor of cheese, I hope it drops for you this week.

Best of luck!

Ah, those dreaded two letters, NO. Man, we sure have all seen that word a lot this last, what is it now, creeping up on 7 months?!

I have been a fairly loyal customer to EVGA. No I don't want any award for that. Just stating a fact. Through Newegg, Amazon and directly through EVGA I have bought 7 GPUs and 5 PSUs over the years. Building computers for my wife, children and myself. Yes we are a family of gamers :) Many of them being high end stuff, 980ti, 1080ti, 2080ti. I am sure you get the drift. The gear I have bought has always held up and worked great. I like the cards, lol.

Anyways, I'm just a middle aged gamer from a small town in the UP looking for a little more horsepower to run my 4k display or for playing VR. I simply do not care about mining at all. I simply want more power to game after a long day at work. I have read many comments about if you don't like the queue or whatever farce of a system that is in place right now you can go elsewhere. Well child, that is not always an option. Some of us have no store even remotely close to purchase any of the new cards. The closest Microcenter to me is 263 miles away. Walmart is our electronics store.... yep...Walmart..

I have not invested in the RTXScalpbot 9000 so most websites.....yeeeeaaaah, that's not happening. Been there and tried that. Really though, I just went after the EVGA card I wanted. Dude, all that did was make me want to bounce my head off my keyboard and pretend I was Death Knight tanking.

So, with everything going against you to get an Nvidia card, I have turned to the Red side. YES EVGA, you read that correctly. I was curious and went on over to Team Red's site, lo and behold, there was something actually in stock! My brain at first could not comprehend seeing "Add to Cart". What was this new concept of "in stock"? That was something I have not seen in many months. Sure, I'll give it a try. I needed just a little more power to turn up Half Life: Alyx a little more. Been rocking this 6900xt for a bit now. Not a bad card at all!

Sure I am frustrated! Immensely! At the end of the day I am just 1 guy from Upper Michigan. I'm not a huge mining farm, nor large scale retailers, just a gamer that likes the EVGA stuff. So we wait for the scraps to trickle down....
Hope there were parts that made people laugh. At the end of the day we are all in this together,  der eh!

You guys really should try the Quest 2 until your card wait is over. Great fun and you can lose some weight. We have 20 friends that we play with online, not all at one time though.

What games would you recommend? I have Beat Saber and Job Simulator, but haven’t touched the quest in a few months.

You would think that at some point in time Evga would meet their contractual obligations with retailers whether by unit sales or time frame and divert more to the que. i doubt contracts are unlimited.

I'm close to my turn for 3657 but I wanted to ask: can I order my card if I have a shipping address within the US but my credit card (that worked fine in newegg) has billing address in Colombia?

Thanks in advace, I hope my question is clear.

You can try your card and if it will not work, you can mail support. Also you can try to buy MasterCard Gift Card, but don't forget to select "Send by E-mail (eGift Card)".

I like to blame my cat for things as well.  A great skit that is apropos.  And good for a laugh on Monday.

Update regarding the price, it was extended to May 14th

Due to ongoing events, EVGA has made price adjustments on the GeForce RTX 30 Series products. This change was necessary due to several factors and will be effective January 11, 2021. EVGA has worked to reduce and minimize these costs as much as possible. For those who are currently in the EVGA.com Notify Queue system or Step-Up Queue, EVGA will honor the original MSRP pricing through May 14th, 2021 if your purchase position is processed before this date.

Conspiracy theory(that EVGA holds cards to release it after price increase) failed.
