I am astounded that it has taken me so long to appreciate that I have been living out John Cleese's character arc in this famous sketch (minus the violence, of course...never acceptable)...and EVGA's online store remains, to this day, "the finest in the district."

This may or may not help out, when the 2080ti released eons ago, I tried to buy a kingpin edition from EVGA. The payment authenticator at that time would not allow my credit card to process. I was shipping to a family members home in the USA, but trying to use a UAE credit card # as I had been living in Dubai. I called EVGA, and they told me sometimes an international CC works and sometimes it doesn't. My particular one didn't. I dont know if they have made changes to the payment system, that could affect the outcome, but that was my experience. I know it is only partly relevant, but I thought I would share my experience in a situation close to yours.

I was excited to see some Kingpin movement until I looked at the spreadsheet... 2 cards is pretty depressing.
Yeah I am 91 away. This means forever I guess. one good thing is the extension to may 14 for discounts. Tomorrow April 13th I get my 1st Vax shot May 4th god willing I will get my 2nd Vax shot Maybe just maybe a card shows before May 4-14. I have a shot on 2 3060 ti and the kingpin

As someone who saw they'd be on the cusp this week for their preferred SKU, I took a breath last week and felt ready to be at peace with whatever pricing I got -- even 2021 MSRP is better than the alternatives, though the price here is definitely in patience. I won't encourage others to feel the same or judge them for not feeling that way, since the price increase is a AAA game someone won't get to enjoy with their new card. I just know that, last year, I was thinking I couldn't stomach the egregious $750+ scalper prices for my 3070, and today I was lucky enough follow a bot link to a $750 3070, added it to cart like I was on a death march, and was saved by someone snatching it up. And there are the shuffle prices.
In the meantime, I bought some supplies to try to restore my old 970 FTW, which was ruined by my new PC's first new PSU. Best case is I get an old but not bad card to play some of the great titles I haven't kept up with. Worst case is I get to learn some basics / bang around the sensitive electronics on a cadaver.

Ah you're right about the HC KPE. Maybe we should. Nobody saw anything  People were just talking about this, I am honestly surprised at this turn of events. The 3080 Ti whenever that comes out should really help people get cards alot sooner.

When my turn eventually comes round will the price I pay include VAT+Delivery or will it be price ex VAT+Delivery and I have to pay any excise/import taxes due when it lands in Ireland.

Didn't pick it at first because of the weird 3/8pin and assumed a 750w/gold might have problems (reading forums) so buying another psu on top of the card was too much, but could do it now. Whats a good EVGA psu for a 3080 ftw ? Thanks for all the help, would have not thought to contact EVGA, went from no 3080 to 3080 with in no time and totally out of the blue.
