Going to be mad when I get a notify for the 3060 before the ones I have been in queue for 6 months now.

I'm going to be mad at myself when I show up at 6am eastern on 12/15/2020 for the KPE launch only to be baffled at how quickly the list closed. Oh, wait, that happened already. Is it ok if we complain about being an idiot and neglecting to pay attention to something like PT following a given time? I probably wouldn't of made the first day even if I had the time right, but you definitely don't make it being three hours early. That's why this forum is kind of great, a lot of people helping others better understand the queue process, auto notifies, general supply chain and mfg issues, and how to get the most out of their cards once they do get one. Don't be mad, it'll be a good day. Maybe not the card you wanted first, but it's a card you presumably want.

Yeah, having 3070 auto-notifies from just last week is very bad.. And the EU queue is moving even slower than the NA queue.. Good luck getting a card from the queue this year, mate :/ But on the bright side, maybe you'll be able to get a card from somewhere else by then!
I know but i want an 3070 evga ftw3 ultra or xc ultra..maybe i have to think about another gpu (asus or msi)..uff
You might still be able to get one of those!! ....it just won't be from the queue this year. :/

Your EVGA.com notifies will likely come up sooner (albeit still a LONG time from now), but they won't ship it to Europe from that queue. Your best bet there is to ship it to someone you know in NA who can then ship it to you. EVGA also does not ship to known freight-forwarders either. So I wouldn't recommend getting rid of the NA notifies yet (because like I said, that will probably come up way before your EU notifies), but start looking into if you have any options to ship to in NA. And again, I strongly encourage you to continue to search elsewhere for a card as well considering your position in the queues.

Pulled my name from queue last night, I was lucky to purchase a 3090 on 2/5/21 from micro center, not so lucky to have to spend double on a card way above what I need, was hoping to land a 3080, and would have sold the 3090 to a forum member for cost of card, but seeing what’s going on I couldn’t hold off anymore ,3 months of looking at new build, opened it last night to fire it up, had to check for any DOA items , card in sitting outside case in temporary holder, being waterblocks seem to be just as Scarce as chips lmao.

Wanted to share a drop of good news.
Sat, wife and I, went on a date, to the vaccine center.
We each got our 1st doses.
Must admit expected to have a 3080 way before I got the shot.
Second Dose can be a pain. I got mine a month ago and only had some weird dreams and a slight headache. A number of coworkers felt like they were beat up, had nausea, and or temps of 103. Usually just lasted a day though and either hit the day after the shot or 2 days later. Good for you on getting the shot!
That is what I heard from others. First dose seems to have triggered my gout, a very mild case, but nothing I ate should have caused it, will have to see if anyone else had that result. But other than a little tired on Sunday we are doing good. Still amazed I got a vaccine before a video card.

Right?! EVGA prices seem to even be a little high for the tech (relative to pricing for the other models), but they have the step up queue as a sweetener. Over $400 for a 3060 is craaaazy.

"MSRP" on the cards will be going up again at the end of this month across the board - some AIBs have already put their prices at that level, which is why there's such a pricing disparity right now. Probably sometime in April eVGA will raise their prices again to match/be near everyone else.
The one eVGA card on the shuffle is $399, btw. The other ones are overpriced atm, $499-$550

Just check out the prices from other AIBs. EVGA has kept the prices low compared to their competitors from what I've seen. Iirc I've seen maybe 3 models listed at $329, one from EVGA, one from Gigabyte, and iirc one from Asus. I've seen 3060s listed above 500 as well.

You guys say 400+ is a bad deal and I would agree if this were 2017 or something. However in todays landscape where even the B-stock 1080 ti at 670$ gets instantly bought out.
1080s go for 450, 1080 tis at 550, 2070S at 800$, Hell a white 3080 Strix goes for close to 2k. Its not that bad of a deal.
Im a small time system builders, clients would shell out 500+ for 3060s without hesistation.

So true. I paid $400 for a 1060 just to get SOMETHING back in December. $389 for a 3060 feels like stealing.
