Wow no 3080 ftw ultra drops in 2 days

Actually no decent drops for this one since last Thursday, so this is the 5th day without any movement (not that it surprises me anymore).

It pains me when I see, even in short supply, drops of cards I want from my queue listed at B&H/Best Buy/etc, at new cost, and no reports of the same exact card or two dropping here.
I've been paying attention to a stock track discord that has a bot that attempts to let us humans know when drops occur.
1 of the 2 cards I want had a good size drop at both retailers last Friday and this last Sunday.
I actually could have gotten one..added to cart and everything, but I thought, save some money, surely they'll be movement in the next two days.
Nope. Still 9/16 and 9/18.

What will the email look like and will it go to junk because I am 10G-P5-3895-KR!! They are passed that but I checked all my email junk and ALL and nothing? I have emails from EVGA but nothing about que?!?!?! Please help what will it say and look like?

at the top of this page, click on "members", and then click on "my notifies".  you'll see if a notification has been sent or not.  then we'll work from there.

I'd like a new 3090 card as much as anyone on this list.  It's frustrating and all that..., but I just spent the last two days at the hospital undergoing my monthly chemotherapy for a very rare form of incurable cancer that I have.  It will eventually kill me.  They don't know what causes it, but it showed up and was diagnosed just as I retired and thought I'd have a comfortable retirement. 
 
Sitting in the oncology center at the hospital, getting pumped full of chemicals that they bring in, in double-walled sealed steel containers, wearing what is essentially a hazmat suit and air supply, and having it hooked up to the chemo port permanently installed in my chest, I sit and feel it going in and causing a burning sensation and the occasional times of uncontrollable shaking.  I sit and watch all the other people in there, some quite young, some old like I am, and some going into sealed rooms for radiation treatment.  These days, with the pandemic, even the parents sitting with their children, mostly only one parent at a time, and all wearing double masks, and the occasional sounds of someone in the restroom throwing up, the sense of what's important and what isn't really hits home!
 
I wonder how many of the people in that room are constantly checking their email on their phones to see if they are going to be able to get a certain video card so they can play a new game at a very high frame rate.
 
I doubt that there are any of them doing that!  Chill out people!  Most of you have many years of ever improving computer gaming ahead of you.  Some of us don't!

There could've been 100 people in those 18 seconds, you don't know that they aren't releasing cards to queue. I'd say just wait it out or else you are just encouraging scalpers which will make it even more difficult for you to buy one next time.

So with the notify I'm guessing there is no guarantee you will get the card? I clicked on the e-mail link and didn't get the option to purchase. 

Says yes for me. Click on it and goes to a series 30 update notice page. Doesn't give me an option to buy anything.

Don't put the full blame on EVGA, they are at the mercy of Nivida for chips for these cards.

Oh I'm certainly not putting all of the blame on EVGA. Obviously they're getting the short stick from NVIDIA.
 
But EVGA is also being about as transparent as a brick wall about how much product is actually moving. We've been told, what, 4 times now that Hybrid cards are dropping, and the queue has moved all of 20-some seconds over the last 3 weeks.
Yeah, I sure am glad I have a reserved spot! But with no way to tell when the queue will actually start picking up, there's no reason for me to sit and worry about it. With how fast these queues are moving I'm not going to get a card until maybe April? And that's with my place in 2 queues being within 12 hours of the launches.

Can someone explain the significance on what 18 seconds means in terms of how many units were sold or positions moved? Was it like 10,000 people per second of server time or some incredible wave of humanity cued up for these cards-- I have not a clue or reference what these mean? Am i looking at a 2 month wait before i get a chance to buy a card?

It depends, many if not most of those who signed up don't bother with this forum. So 18 seconds could be a ton of people, or being a niche model of GPU there could be a more reasonable number. You are most likely looking at end of next week at the latest, so long as this card becomes part of the regular drops like I heard.

Respectfully disagree. I think 9:16 still has a long wait. There are a ton of people just between 9:03 and 9:05. I’m at 9:04:38 and expect to have at least another month and probably longer.

This is the worst day of my life! I just saw the email for the 3090 FTW Hybrid... I got it 10 hours ago!!! My 8 hour period expired. I've been waiting for this for so long just to lose the opportunity because I had aa reaaaaally busy day. Please EVGA, give me a second chance.
