So wait a minute. The que moves in a straight line and whoever ordered earlier gets it first...... Then how EXACTLY (since all the ques are already in place) does making their GPU's KL help free up demand for normal gamers??? Can someone explain the logic behind this.... because I switched to KL to be able to get my GPU easier, however, it's not going to help AT ALL since the que was already established...... And first come first serve was happening ANYWAY. So what exactly was the point of making their GPU's KL? It follows ZERO logic. All it does is screw us people who might have dabbled a little into mining, but really just wanted the GPU for gaming...... And for NO REASON AT ALL.

LHR doesn't really help gamers since there's other profitable coins that aren't affected by the limiter like Ravencoin. They moved people from the KR to KL series because that's what Nvidia is now giving them. Not like EVGA has a huge choice in the matter. If you signed up for the queue late, you probably aren't going to get a card before the 4000 series launches unless it's some niche expensive card like the Kingpin

They don't just put all their produced cards into the queues. From a manufacturing standpoint they aren't going to build a whole new production line to create KL and keep producing KR, they will just modify the existing production line and might have to due to some direction from Nvidia. So while it doesn't make sense from your standpoint, you can always switch back to the NON-MOVING KR queues if you want.

I see.... This makes sense and I hadn't even considered it in this way... that it's Nvidia. Duh. Thanks. Unfortunately for me the only micro center near me is over an hour away. I've never been to a micro center before and I find it difficult to drive daily an hour just on a prayer that MAYBE they'll have the cards, and then I'll get picked in the ticket shuffle..... I might end up trying though. I kinda wish I had bought one when the scalpers only asking for 1200$ now.

Yes, you can cancel. But please keep in mind that once you exit the associate program you cannot rejoin with that EVGA account...it is a one way exit. They do this to prevent folks from gaming the system.

Crazy what a difference ambient temperature makes... Temps have finally gone down to about 20C here in coastal BC; mining on the 3080 Ti hybrid now only gets me to 42C on the core and 76C on the VRAM. Pretty much a 10C drop.

Movement has been rough for that one. There were only two drops; one at launch and one about two months later. Each moved the queue about 15 seconds, so it's sitting around 10:00:30 right now. In general, the HC cards are far, far slower to move than any other card type. Sorry I don't have better news for you.

Yes; EVGA doesn't really have a say over the cards being LHR. That's what they're getting from Nvidia now.

Reply to the email they sent you, they will usually help you out and get you the gpu.
