I'm willing to pay extra for the +300w and the software, provided the efficiency and rail stability of the unit are amongst the very best out there. I'm NOT buying the unit if rigorous tests such as those of hard OCP's show it's not a top-tier high power PSU!

Its slightly disappointing that EVGA hasn't released these yet. I had to get a new PSU in order to get my Rig up and Running. So i have a shiny new AX1200 that just arrived.

Smaller units are FSP based off of the Aurum Pro platform.  The 1500W is unknown as of yet AFAIK.  It may be a complete in-house EVGA design, or a partnership with someone like FSP.

Ill admit, its going to take a LOT for me to use any other PSU over Corsair, but I AM curious about these. You know evga's spin on the PSU is going to be pretty awesome. Can't wait to see these tested.

I called EVGA yesterday and asked about this.  I was told by "pre-sales" that these units are a few months out still.  Bummer.

They look great and I'd love to possible get a 750, but after reading this entire thread, there is one question I couldn't find an answer too ~ "Are there LED lights on the fan and what color are they!?"  Please be 'red' or none at all...I'm getting so sick of everything I'm interested in being blue LED!

Yup, EVGA is DEFINITELY none too quick about getting things to market once they show them. Its been how long since they first showed them now? They are starting to rock TTMs (time to market) in the range of as long as asrock...how long ago was the extreme 11 shown.


Evga needs to give an update on these, even if its like the did with the 580 3gb cards and just a hurry up and wait comment.

 
They said, March/April time frame.....it is still April.  This time frame was not an official announcement either.....so there is a good chance it might be another month or two.  I want them to come to market when they are ready....no sooner.

It's taking everything I have not getting a Seasonic 1250W or the Enermax (Lepa) 1600W right now...waiting for this is getting painful.  Hopefully it will be worth it.  If this isn't released around the beginning of June, I will go ahead with one of the aforementioned units.
