It hasn't been for sale in quite a few years.

That might be one reason for been taken out from the final version after all.

Case: Asus Z370-G Box / MB: Asus Z370-G / CPU: Intel I7 8700K / Mem.: 16GB (2x8) 3000Mhz Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 / GPU: GTX 1080TI FTW3 / A.I.O. W.C: EVGA CLC280 / PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750W

I was able to ask for them on the live if they had any ETA on it,
March will be, as said by Jacob (It's on the way already).

Guess will find out in March if they removed the built-in EVBot. They didn't show it off at CES 2018, that makes me think they removed it form the final version.

Yup.
About the EVBot.
Do they still sell it?
I never saw any news on it in a long time.

It's been like over 4 years since evga has sold the stand alone evbot. If i remember right, mfg wanted evga to order like 50,000 units.

Rumor price around $120 for EVGA Z10 Keyboard.

Maybe they could give a 25% discount for all members that have waited for 3+ years.... lol.

Not sure how many people would wait that long for a keyboard lol. I ended up getting Corsair K70 Lux RGB. If you like keyboards with back lighting, RGB is the best choice.

Maybe more than you think! I thought I was crazy waiting over a year for the K95 w/ CherryMX Blues only to have the 2nd production run cancelled. Ended up with the MX Brown version(though now after RMA for a dead LED I have the MX Blue Version)

Still, as someone who enjoys doing builds themed around a single manufacturer, I'd not complain about having access to the Z10. However I'd definitely familiarize myself with Kailh switches before deciding on which version you want. To go with the aesthetics of my Alienware17R4 I picked up with AW768 with Kailh Browns. It's a good enough keyboard but I was a bit shocked with the switch feel once I started using it. See, like many I was under the impression Razer used rebranded Kailh switches so I was expecting a somewhat Razer Orange feel. I couldn't have been more wrong. The AW feels closer to a MX Red but has almost a mush feel despite an initial firmness to the keypress. It definitely doesn't feel anything like the MX browns I had previously. It has good uniformity so it's not a typical Kailh quality complaint. If I do pick up a Z10 I definitely will be going Blue switches or at least trying to find a keyboard with Kailh blues at retail to test.

Re: EVGA Z10 Keyboard Tuesday, March 06, 2018 2:01 PM (permalink)
I remember reading all the issues with Corsair Keyboards with Cherry MX Blue switches. The MX Blue switches lacked uniformity both in feel and sound. I was never one for doing builds around a single manufacturer, you end up having to make compromises (in my opinion).

I think EVGA will be at a huge disadvantage once this Z10 keyboard is released. We have tons mechanical RGB keyboards to choose from these days. If a person wants a mechanical keyboard with back lighting, why would they limit themselves to one color. I like my K70 Lux RGB for all the custom RGB profiles users have made for it.

So no Z10 with EVBot then? Too bad, really would have bought it then to use it together with my 1080 Ti KPE :( Been looking for a EVBot for some time now, and the route with the Raspberry Pi seems a bit tricky

• EVGA X299 Dark • Intel Core i9 7920X • 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4-3200 CL14 • Seasonic PRIME 80+ Platinum 850W • EVGA GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N Hydro Copper

It's hard to say if it will or not. CES 2018 evga didn't show off the built in evbot which is weird, if the product is ready for release two months later.

Well
Pax 2018 is right around the corner.
If someone is going, they could stop by EVGA booth and check it.
Orrrr, try to ask on the lives they will be making.

Edit: But my guess is no. Since I never saw these for sale on EVGA website for awhile.

CES 2018 they said Z10 keyboard would be released Q1 2018. Q1 is January, February and March. Today is March 17.

Really if they added RGB lighting it wouldn't be that bad but if they did RGB it should work with the closed loop coolers EVGA makes so you can monitor CPU temps by looking at the keyboard.

I'm not holding my breath, most of us are just having a discussion.

It's just weird to see evga never switched to adding RGB over 3 years ago, when it was clear the industry is going in that direction. I think most of us would agree the industry standard for back-lit mechanical gaming keyboards these days is RGB. Having RGB sync software that works with mobos, closed loop coolers and peripherals, that would help make your products stand out. The more features you can add, the more reason you give consumers to buy your product.

The last livestream this past Friday has some info in the intro portion and they gave one away. I think they said the winner gets it a week before anyone else, so they should be out by the end of this week.

Has anyone heard anything on which apps EVGA Z10 keyboard will support?

Have not heard, but I'd imagine AIDA64 since that works on the old Logitech G15 keyboards, and/or EVGA will make their own software for it. AIDA64 allows you to pull info from a number of different sources.

We will implement support for EVGA Z10 in AIDA64 as soon as we can get a Z10 sample from EVGA, or a Z10 retail boxed product from a local store.

Nice - someone from AIDA64 - thanks for chiming in! I'll bring this to the attn of EVGA Product Manager.

I too would take having the features i want over matching a sticker on another product.

I wonder if evga Z10 keyboard will use the same software evga mice do.

That is such a HUGE dissapointment. The LCD screen, inbult EVBot, in a mechanical keyboard was THE selling point for me.

I currently use a Logitech G15, i've really been looking forward to upgrading to a mechanical keyboard with the ability to retain the little LCD screen, and have the added and important functionality of being able to directly OC my Classified graphics card via the on board Evbot. I even itnended on buying EVGA GPU's in the future purely for this purpose.

but now...
With the shortcomings seen thus far, being the low quality plastics keycaps, the mono single colour LED's, and even the price.... i dont actually think il be buying one now :(
Nor will i likely be sticking with EVGA GPU's, not saying i wont ever use one, but ill now be looking at others aswell when deciding, like MSi Lighting, Zotac Amp Ex, HoF etc, since i wont be able to use an EVBot.

Dissapointing, very dissapointing.

Really hoping there will be a couple different back-lighting options for the Z10. You'd think EVGA would make it have the same color options the Torq X10 has, that would at least make sense then. Anyways, still looking forward to this release.

Different back-lighting options like RGB lighting? Lots of people are wondering why they didn't do that.

It's a nice looking keyboard, and for that $149 you get a free X10 Carbon mouse with it (at least for now) which is normally $66, so that's a pretty sweet deal! I'd certainly consider it if I hadn't just spent 2-3 hours last weekend completely disassembling and cleaning my Razor keyboard (2014 Black Widow Ultimate Stealth) ...long overdue.

Wouldn't necessarily want full spectrum RGB, but at least the Torq X10 has like 7 different colors to chose from. Eh, either way I'll be picking it up... especially since it comes bundled with an X10. Definitely a feature EVGA should consider in the future if they put out another keyboard.

I have 3 X10 carbons currently, so that isn’t a great selling point. $150 seems like a standard start for EVGA pricing. I will also wait until the $99 range and reviews, but $150 is more than I paid for either of my current keyboards with more features and full RGB. The only thing mine is missing is the LCD screen.
