Oh, God. Please consolidate the EVGA software into one package. I'm running 3 separate EVGA programs now.

Lol I have 4 I use, 5 if I count the flow control but since I don't use it I will remove that one.

We can always dream guys.
One day maybe.

That is a pipe dream.

Has anyone heard anything on which apps EVGA Z10 keyboard will support?

Have not heard, but I'd imagine AIDA64 since that works on the old Logitech G15 keyboards, and/or EVGA will make their own software for it. AIDA64 allows you to pull info from a number of different sources.

We've just implemented EVGA Z10 support in AIDA64:

For what it's worth, we are in the process of developing an SDK for the Z10, but it will still take some time since there's another project or two in front of it.

The AIDA 64 LCD support is a god-send. You can customize basically everything, the positioning, font size, name, ect. No offense EVGA, but the LCD options in the Unleash software is limited.

You should see what you can do with AIDA 64 on a smartphone or tablet. It will make you wonder why some companies are still using generic displays on keyboards.

Update: just saw your "Update" lmao

File > Preferences. On the left hand side of the window that pops up you will see a drop down tab labeled "LCD". From there select the "EVGA" tab (There is a mess of different brands, like playing Wheres Waldo)

In the EVGA tab check the box that says "Enable EVGA LCD Support" and hit Apply. Now you can go to the "LCD Options" and "LCD Items" listed under the main "LCD" tab and mess around with it.

Also, make sure the LCD options in Unleash are disabled or else the two programs (AIDA and Unleash) will conflict and cause the LCD to flicker.

Yes, I just noticed this as well. It seems to be HW Monitor. It will flicker between HW Monitor display items (like GPU temp, clock, ect) and the AIDA display items. Even if I deselect all of the HW monitor items, it will just flicker between a blank screen and the AIDA display items. As soon as I close PXOC the LCD returns to normal and just displaying AIDA 64 items.

Is there a way to set the fan curve of my 1080 FTW Hybrid without PXOC? If I have to keep PXOC closed then the fan on the card won't spin up. Will the hybrid fan spin up after a certain threshold like air-cooled 10 series cards?

Having the same issue with my 1080 ti SC2 hybrid, gpu fan stop spinning when i close PXOC if using custom fan curve. Was very happy with AIDA, was able to add 8 more sensors to my lcd display than PXOC can.

( Unless there is a way to display more than 1 item per line on the LCD with PXOC).

Oh well, was a happy camper for at least a few minutes.

Cheers!

Re: EVGA Z10 Keyboard 2018/07/03 15:35:10 (permalink)
Temporary solution I found is to run MSI Afterburner instead of PXOC. MSI will let me set and keep a fan curve without interfering with the LCD. I suppose you could run an older version of PXOC that wouldn't have the support for the KB, but that's still not addressing the issue. PXOC needs an option to disable sending any data to the LCD.

darn, My AIDA64 Extreme subscription just expired. but thanks for the link
I wonder if I am the only person that has more than one keyboard connected to their computer at the same time.

Keep 2 folder with the released AIDA and the overnight beta builds when testing a new MB.

Before i used AIDA64 beta i was only able to display 4 items on the Z10 lcd with PXOC, with AIDA i can display 15.  The software to manage the LCD is awesome. *hints* *hints*.

Cheers!

Edit: To havoc1482,
I also booed my team last year and probably will this year too.

Are you still running MSI Afterburner instead of PXOC?

Yes I am, simply to keep my Hybrid's fan spinning at all times. If PXOC didn't interfere with the LCD I would gladly go back, but for now MSI works for me even though its not ideal.
