From the pictures I saw this is pretty disappointing and lacking a lot of standard features such as RGB lighting. My $15 keyboard has 1 LED color backlight.

Looks like my old Logitech G15.  Same display as a ten year old keyboard but with upgraded keys.  And you're probably going to ask close to $150 for one I bet.

RGB is a standard features these days, you don't see any real demand for keyboards with single LED black lighting.

If they do ask $150 for it, i don't see that many gamers buying it over Corsair RGB keyboards, that have much better software support. The biggest issues with G15 generic LCD screen on keyboards, is the lack of apps that work on it.

You can monitor system temps or discord/teamspeak on smart phone or table. That just shows how obsolete a tiny LCD screen on a keyboard is.

That is powered by AIDA64 Extreme using the remote LCD option (AIDA64 used to be known as Everest a few years back). Great utility for monitoring almost anything on your PC. You can run it via on-screen display, a lot of people run it via the Windows Desktop Gadget, it can run on a limited number of electronic photo frames via USB, but I found the best way for me is using the remote LCD (if you have a home WiFi network router) which basically lets you open a browser window on your cellphone (or in my case using an Amazon Fire tablet) running off the local network and is extremely customizable. Here's a photo of it next to my monitor:

I posted a rar file with the template used above on the AIDA64 forums [link] if you want to try it. You can download a 30-day trial version of AIDA64 for free, although some features are disabled. Unlocked version is $39.95 and can be used on up to 3 PCs (or laptops).

..and thanks MSim for the heads up on this thread. :)

Need word from EVGA whether this has EVBot or not.

Considering the advancment of other tech, like keyboards and displays, the Z10 looks rather old. The display should be a fully functioning mini display by now, even touchscreen. The keyboard should be RGB (not that i personaly care for such fluff effects), and the inclusion of EvBot should be one of its main selling points.

If it turns out to literaly be a mechanical version of the G15 without the control buttons on the keyboard itself, then well, it should not demand a high price at all.

So yea, EVGA , does it have EVBot ???

Not sure how many people would wait that long for a keyboard lol. I ended up getting Corsair K70 Lux RGB. If you like keyboards with back lighting, RGB is the best choice.

Not going to lie, after them showing the same unreleased product for 3 years, I wouldn’t pay $125 for it. I wish they would stop showing it until they are actually ready to release it, because the pictures from June 2015 are the exact same, except for maybe the display being a different color. I am not impressed at this point.

Have to agree with some of the posts here. This keyboard would have been sweet 3+ years ago when it was initially dangled in front of us, but it appears a little dated now, if some of the specs are as what is mentioned in this thread. RGB lighting is becoming standard on gaming keyboards, even cheap ones (I'm looking an Amazon now and can see cheap ones for $15, and Corsair and Razer ones for $40-$50), and if it's going to have a display, a monochrome low-res display is pushing it at a $150 price point. No idea why it took so long for EVGA to get from fully functioning prototype to release (assuming it releases this year). I still like the idea of the keyboard with display though, but there are so many other affordable options out there now that weren't around 3+ years ago..

3? More like 5+ years ago. I posted my thoughts in another thread on this stupid outdated garbage. Put a 4"-5" 720p screen on the top and have it hooked up via USB 3.1 to power and transmit data. Let people go nuts with making software for it for all sorts of things such as Aida64 data and other monitoring software. Can also be used for other things such as Discord voice chat display for those talking, or any other sort of notifications. I know for a fact, I mentioned this last time this product was shown.

Case - Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X
Mobo - EVGA X570 FTW
CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
RAM - 32GB Trident Z Royal 3600MHz 14-14-14-34
GPU - EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming
PSU - Seasonic Prime TX-1000
Heatkiller IV CPU Waterblock / Heatkiller V GPU Waterblock
Heatkiller V EBC Active Backplate / Two Heatkiller Rad 360 L
Six Noctua NF-A12x25 / Heatkiller D5 Pump

Have not heard, but I'd imagine AIDA64 since that works on the old Logitech G15 keyboards, and/or EVGA will make their own software for it. AIDA64 allows you to pull info from a number of different sources.

We will implement support for EVGA Z10 in AIDA64 as soon as we can get a Z10 sample from EVGA, or a Z10 retail boxed product from a local store.

I'm currently using a corsair K70 rapid fire cherry reds. And I really regret it, they're too sensitive for me. I should have went with browns. And the evga keyboard at the event I tried were browns and blues, and they both felt solid.

Reds take some time to get use to, corsair K70 rapid fire has the best RGB software on the market.

Guess will find out in March if they removed the built-in EVBot. They didn't show it off at CES 2018, that makes me think they removed it form the final version.

I was able to ask for them on the live if they had any ETA on it,
March will be, as said by Jacob (It's on the way already).

Guess will find out in March if they removed the built-in EVBot. They didn't show it off at CES 2018, that makes me think they removed it form the final version.

Yup.
About the EVBot.
Do they still sell it?
I never saw any news on it in a long time.

It hasn't been for sale in quite a few years.
