Flow Control not detecting CLC 280

It detects my GTX 1080 FTW, but not my CLC 280 so I can’t control the rgb. I’ve got the 3 pin header connected to the cpu pump on the motherboard. Does it matter where it’s connected to? Motherboard is a Z370 MSI Tomahawk.

    Hello Jcksbr5! Have you double-checked that the USB cable is firmly connected to the pump and the USB 2.0 header on your motherboard? For the fan header, you can use a CPU header but you will want to enter your motherboard BIOS and ensure that the fan is set to stay at 100% power and is not on a "smart" or "adaptive" setting.

    I can't respond to PMs yet. Not enough posts... The USB cable I received is snapped. I was hoping I didn't have to use that. Is there any chance I can get a replacement? I'd upload a pic, but I can't do that either.
