*UPDATE*
this block is compatible with the X99 FTW K.  See the crudely made chart below

*UPDATE*
Updated the main page with pictures and ditched most of the sketches.

CLASSY VREG:

Underside CLASSY VREG:

similar to the X79 Dark block, minus the "mounting ears".

Topside FTW & MICRO VREG:

Underside FTW/MICRO VREG:

 UPDATE:

 The chipset blocks

Fits the Classy 999 & FTW 997:

Fits the Micro 995:

And a handy dandy chart I made to un-confuse myself:

How easy is it to remove the stock heatsinks? I imagine you have to remove both together thanks to that heatpipe.

I would think it to be easy, just unscrew everything and gently pry/twist until everything let's go.

And, may as well go ahead and mark me down for the "will own a Nateman x99 Classy block even if I never get the board" list.

generally you just remove the screws from the underside with a screwdriver.

Then you will be on the first batch.  glad to have you along!

Any chance you could make a block for x99 micro too?
Or at least north bridge?

nateman do you plan on serializing them? such 0001, 0002 and such or no? I thought it would be kinda cool idea, but I understand there is some drama and difficulty to perform that.

I can probably take care of the micro as well. I only have 1 machine, so I have to work in batches (or finish building my 2nd CNC)

I don't normally serialize them, but I have thought about it on occasion

This will give one completely new look to X99 Classified.
But I just write on JayzTwoCent's video, board look much better on video clips than on pictures.

No hoses. We don't want to short anything out. I'm out of town till the weekend. I still have a small batch of other blockks before I can get this taken care of.

I'd be interested in a Micro block as well. I just won one from the X99 giveaway and would love to have another nateman block. I've been sad ever since getting rid of my SR-2 block. If you need a board to test fit I'd be happy to send mine as soon as I get it.

Hey Nate, I'm itching to get back to team EVGA for a motherboard this round on the x99, and your waterblock is really directing me that way. But I have to ask, because it's how I do my financials, how much would you be charging for the block kit for this board? Lemme know when you can, thanks.

Its hard to say, but they won't be much.  I have a mother board in hand, so I will do a paper prototype tomorrow when i am back in gear.

Here is what I can say for the X99 Classy...(PN 151-HE-E999-KR)

There will be both a chipset and Vreg.  There is no avoiding it since there is a heatpipe connecting the 2 of them.

don't want to over urden you nateman, and as I said before no rush on it. Do you think we could get a CPU block? I am willing to solo fund this venture if need be. I have a really good idea for my build I may want to try. It also seems like my EK cpu block has a scratch in it showing copper. Rather spend that money on a Nateman Co. than EK.

Here is a quick sketch of the chipset block.  I will see how well it fits.

seta.. let me see what I can do.  I haven't even finished designing one for the version I have in my hands, let alone the other two.

The easier I make things, the faster I can bang them out.  Solo projects tie up my machine for a very long time.  If nothing is going on and I have a quiet spell with orders then hell yea, why not.

cool. I have no rush. you could hold onto my board for like 6 months and I would not care one bit. I have a lot of other things to wait on and even build.
