I put that “Elite member with registered card before Step Up changes” caveat in cause I know EVGA Elite account abuse exists, there are literally people making hundreds of accounts trying to farm 40% coupons to get 3090s off B-Stock.

There probably were, but all those coupons expired.

The same Elite account abuse allows B-Stock to be botted like crazy.

Miners love B-Stock cause FHR cards are on it.

From what I know, the limit is one of each SKU per account.

Anyway, EVGA Elite really shouldn’t have been given out like candy.

But it’s also a point in why I believe these Step Up limits was the wrong way to go.

Miners actually love this Step Up change because… in order to get a 3090 Ti via Step Up, you’ll have to give up at least a 3070 (tentative).

And to get a 3050, you’d have to give up a good mining card.

More mining cards are gonna hit B-Stock, and fewer crappy GT cards.

Actually it will not help miners because any card being stepped up at this point is LHR. They stopped making full hashrate cards over 90 days ago.

LHR unlocks are already past 75% FHR, plus I know plenty of miners who would take LHR cards, lmao.

Might not be my cup of tea, but I know someone who posted a bigger wall of cards in this thread earlier who would gladly eat them up.

Also of note, LHR cards beat GT 1030s in hash rate.

You were just saying that miners want the B stock cards because they are full hashrate but now you are saying they would want lhr b stock cards because why? Miners don't want LHR cards. It takes a ton more power to hit that 74% on an LHR card and they are inconsistent. The ROI on an LHR card is much longer.

Are the 16 series even being sold new though? Not sure how you could step one up.

Pretty sure I saw some posts from people trying to step up 1650 and 1660 on this thread. ; )

This option might not be the one they would have chosen initially, but I guess it is still welcome. : )

The old 2060 was about 25% faster than the 1660 Super.  Not the worst upgrade.  Still think the 3050/3060 should also be in this budget tier but I'm sure supplies are limited.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the limited supplies. I think this is all being done so that they have a chance of making it through the queue.

Also, the old 2060 had, albeit not great, the ability to use raytracing and DLSS, which the 16 series absolutely can’t do properly, so those would be a couple of advantages for users as well.

The 3050 is not out, so maybe when it is actually allowed to be sold, they will add it.

Cards that were not in the Step-Up queue prior to these changes going into affect are subject to the new terms and conditions.

I purchased a 1030 last week with the intention of using the step-up program that was still in affect when I purchased.  It's ridiculous to change the program it without any advanced notice or warning.

It is pretty messed up to not let people know. They are going to lose customers over this if they do not make some changes.

I purchased a 3080 Ti as part of a bundle through AntOnline. I registered the GPU on my EVGA account. I went to the Start New Step-Up and opened the drop down, but there's no AntOnline option. Does anyone know if they are not allowing you to step up Ant GPUs?

I love your posts.

I'm not going to Google it but I am wondering, what the heck is simping? Must be a millennial term like "adulting".
I don't need to fill my head with useless nonsense words because some people are too lazy to pick one from the 171,476 English words currently in use.
I suppose having access to that many just makes it too hard, easier to be like a 5 year old and make up new ones. College material right there.

No, please stop being a thug and think you are entitled to use a company sponsored program and expect them to honor what they say.

It’s outrageous how many people on here think that EVGA should honor a queue , or a warranty on a product at all. Super shady. When EVGA stops honoring your warranty it’s damn good thing I hope you enjoy your broken GPU and stop feeling so entitled.

*** this is heavy sarcasm, I am channeling the deranged logic being used in here by certain posters who are attempting to defend EVGAs decision to purposefully harm customers ***

This bundle was $349 before tax. This was the only bundle they had that didn't come with 5-7 other things. All these companies bundling all kinds of junk they can't sell with an MSRP markup. Frustrating. It's like these NewEgg Shuffle deals. Half of them are entering to win a chance to buy way overpriced stuff because everyone is so desperate for a card right now.

So, since the LHR thing was announced, miners loved B-Stock cause they're putting refurb FHR cards on there. But no one expects the FHR cards to continue forever, despite EVGA dropping 3070 FHR today on B-Stock.
As FHR cards run out, instead of people sending in 210s, 710s, and 1030s, we're gonna end up getting 1660 Super, 2060 Super, 3070 Tis (as good as 3070 FHR) and 3080 Tis (as good as 3080 FHR) instead. All of these are cards miners would consider. Especially those in the Falcodrin Community Discord, a stock notification group I'm very active in.

Having an issue finding the vendor to start the setup up program.

I purchased a 3080 Ti as part of a bundle through AntOnline. I registered the GPU on my EVGA account. I went to the Start New Step-Up and opened the drop down, but there's no AntOnline option. Does anyone know if they are not allowing you to step up Ant GPUs?

Mr Picklezz,

Are you in USA?

All you kids with the "simping" insults and "shill" remarks are hilarious. Please cry on the forums more, I really do enjoy watching train wrecks in slow motion. I'm going to use your salty tears to wash down the delicious disappointment you clowns keep posting.

TL:DR LEARN TO READ THE TOS

PS: How's that GT 1030 working out for you? Maxing out some games at 720p?

This is comedic gold! Please keep crying!!!!!

It's an insult kids use that basically means you're being too attentive or bending to someone's will too easily. It's some of the popular slang on Twitch and other sites. These idiots all hopped up on Advanced GG or other gamer supplements while frothing at the mouth yelling "pog champ" and "pepo".

They are the "entitlement" generation and they think the world owes them a debt. Mommy always told them they are the best and they can have whatever they want. I just love it when these idiots get smacked down to reality. They wanna try to report EVGA to the FTC or threaten legal action. It's hilarious and free entertainment. It says plain as day EVGA can change, modify or cancel anyone's step up for any reason without notice in the ToS had they ever bothered to read it. Then you have these same entitled little brats that are trying to game system here "shocked and disgusted" that EVGA would close this loophole.

OMG!!! Thousands of people are gonna be mad and cry on the forums!!! Oh noes!! whatever shall we do????

FYI, for those of you with a 16-Series graphics card, we have added the EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 12GB XC to the Step-Up Program:

https://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=12G-P4-2263-KR

Are the 16 series even being sold new though? Not sure how you could step one up.

Yes. Just last month Antonline was selling the 1660 Super SC Ultra bundled with a Z12 keyboard.

You gotta stop, I haven't laughed this hard since Sam Kinison did live stand up.

You can't blame them, along the way they were told it's ok to use fake words and demean real ones like feminine and masculine.

I just hope EVGA doesn't decide the path of least resistance is the best path and close down all queues/consumer programs.
After all not one competitor, Asus, MSI, NVIDIA, Gigabyte, Zotac or any others have similar programs. They all sell cards that
cost more and if you read reviews, can't hold a candle to EVGA.

Finally a good comment from you.

Yes EVGA needs to close down all programs including the queue to avoid shady abuse happening in that system. Based on the logic you and the other simps on this forum have exhibited it’s evident that all programs created to be used by consumers are abused by sketchy and shady people like yourself . Therefore all programs should be shut down immediately and retroactively .

EVGA should do this immediately as it’s good customer service and keeps things fair for all , there are to many of those shady people who abused the system by entering the queue while others like myself where unaware of the queue system.

To this point I can’t believe EVGA has been letting people queue up and cut in line of others unfairly.

***all based on the simp logic***

I love that your reverse-psychology revealed your true complaint:  "people {sic} entering the queue while others like myself where unaware of the queue system."

Yesterday someone who waited 406 days in the queue got their video card.  But hey, you just bought a 1030.
