Hope this post allowed on this form, I made huge mistake possibly, bought power supply
On eBay new in box without cords so it looks my cables not compatible with new PsU, so will order the cables, but I’m not going overclock and I’m going factory frequency on my 7820x is 650 watt power supply ok for kingpin? 2080 ti, I’ll wait to overclock when I get cables for my 1000watt supply...

P.S I’m new to forums so please forgive me if this post is in violation or on the wrong topic, I will properly fix if needed

See Question about power cords
A 650 is really to small for the KPE.

@hallowen How well do each card run PR with SLI Disabled?
All you need to do is Disable SLI in the Control Panel and the Run the First Run on the Card that has the Monitor Connected.
Then change the Monitor Cable to the other KPE and then Run the on that card.
PS I ask because most of us only have One KPE Graphics Card.

Haven't got around to working with only one card yet, I was just making sure that the KingPins could beat my previous Port Royal high score of 20603 that I set with my previous 2X RTX 2080 Ti Ultra Hydro Coppers.

I will eventually start working on 1X Kingpin scores soon.

Thanks, In the past I have always mainly Overclocked/Benchmarked with multiple GPU setups, so testing with just one card will be different for me.

As I expected, This single card GPU/Memory can Overclock much higher than the two of them in SLI.

Are you using a chiller? Also are you using the XOC Bios?

I would say just putting it to sleep would keep the settings, only complete power down resets them. I have not tried but seems like it should keep settings though.

Yes, I'm still using my original 2008 AC/conversion chiller and Overclocking on the normal Vbios switch setting with the KingPin Classified Tool.

Very nice, All the scores seem very close together in the air/water cooling/chiller 1X Port Royal benchmarks.
As usual, LN2 rules most of the top ten.

I’m still so torn as to whether or not I should put my waterblock on my card or not.

I am not so sure I’ll get any great performance bump compared to where I’m at right now. Probably a bit better on memory OC but I’m not really sure how much that will matter in the long run.

Any thoughts?

Standard water loop.

To many others will tell you it makes no difference in how the loop is set up so pointless for me to post how I do it and why.
PM if you want how and why I set mine up the way I do it.

I had a pretty good day of benchmarking today with the single card port royal. Set the chiller liquid temp to -5C and was able to get to 2310 core clock and 2138 memory clock on my best score and move me up to #16 HOF.
