Hi Guys!
I'm new of the forum and is the first time that i bought a EVGA GPU, and it's the first time to that i buy a so powerfull one, i speak about of the RTX 3090 FTW3 ultra obviusly. ;) i have a questio,if I'm not wrong this vga have a switch for 2 kind of bios "gaming" and "normal", is correct? how it work?

When I owned my one, I haven't found a difference. Power usage same, cooling same. Sometimes it wasn't switching so you had to restart twice etc. Any BIOS will do to be fair. Adjust fan curve appropriately.
Thank u for the answer, but my question is more basically, i mean, how it works? i immagine i have to turn off the PC obviusly, PSU switch power off and then i switch on the chosed bios, right? only this? the VGA is maded with 2 bios of factory right? i don't have to update or flash notthing, right?

Turn PC off, switch it and then turn it back on.
2nd BIOS doesn't do anything due to inherit problems with FTW3 cards. Power usage is same, everything is same except fan curve which you can just change yourself in Afterburner.

I upgraded my RTX 3090 Utlra new OC bios and it's now showing 94.02.42.80.27 but I have a triangle ! and says resizable BAR disabled With there a lot post on this thread and it's hard to find the solution any ideas on what to do?
So any info on this can some body direct me to where to get the rebar activated? So I also check my setting in nvdia and it also says no.

This probably has been asked before but I just got my card of Saturday. I got the Resizable bar to work but it keeps telling me that I can't update to the 500W bios. It says there is no display adapter that can update it. Is there anyway I can see if it already has it on the card.
My Bios Version is
94.02.42.C0.02

I have two problems. I update my bios with evga precision x 1. I have a 3090 ultra hybird. My bios version is 94.02.42.c0.11.
It says, after updating bios:
-Csm support must be disabled before updating BIOS-
I have a second problem. This comes by default at values 44 and 40. The fan won't let me go below 30 percent speed.

Sold it, got Suprim X and scores went up from 4050 to 4450. KP 520W bios works perfectly (ON AIR!) and PCI-E power doesn't go past 50W, clock speed 2160Mhz and no water block yet.
What settings in Heaven? I just got a score of 7500 on my revised card with KPE520w ...

Sold it, got Suprim X and scores went up from 4050 to 4450. KP 520W bios works perfectly (ON AIR!) and PCI-E power doesn't go past 50W, clock speed 2160Mhz and no water block yet.
What settings in Heaven? I just got a score of 7500 on my revised card with KPE520w ...

I ran it again with all settings maxed at 3440x1440 and got less than 4000 ... so it's very settings dependent.

Max power draw I've seen is it touched 420W once or twice, but hovers around 400W... max shown in photo is 108% when sliders are all maxed out to 119%. Pretty disappointed as I've gone through the effort to water-cool it, temps never go above 52C. Hopefully a bios fix soon, dreading if I have to RMA it but wouldn't be surprised as at least most of the users here are getting 420-450W... I'm at a measly 400W average lol.

Yours looks to be near-identical to mine (got it from EVGA direct back in December). Your PCIe power @ 80+w basically forces the card to power throttle even though it could easily just pull more power from the 8 pins, it won't. In GPUZ you're going to just see a giant green band indicating power limited even though you're 400-420w with the 500w BIOS. My RMA is supposed to ship today. Hopefully that resolves it for me but if you're not happy with your results and/or are concerned about damaging your MB from higher than standard draw, you're going to have to RMA it. Max draw off that slot should be 75w and while 80w probably won't hurt anything, that's what's likely power limiting the cards. Mine was pulling about 82w under load. My SN for reference was starting 2012.

There is no Bios, that can fix a bad Pcb design. You need to apply for special RMA by writing to 3090oc@evga.com

Specla69, what are the first 4 digits of your serial number? As the user above has mentioned - it's a half a..ed design, unfixable with software. Depending on how much you've paid for yours, you might be better off selling it and getting a different brand. The RMA in EU takes about 3 weeks but there were reports of RMA cards being as bad as the card they sent in. Since no one from EVGA bothers on explaining the core of the issue, I'd sell it asap and not risk another lemon.
