So far I am impressed with this card! Did a run on valley 1.0 stock bios on normal mode @1359mhz voltage at 1.212. It throttled some what due to hitting the power % limit of 110%. Card is definitely a keeper!

Looking good. I think its time you change the Skin on Precision-X to the Kingpin version. Only seems fitting

Mine does 1189 @ 1.161 out of the box. I've completed one valley run at 1292 @ 1.161 (+103) 80c fan only at 54%. This cooler is much quieter than the version on the 780 classified and I have not had any of the noise issues. I'd rank it nearly on par with the latest twin frozr's.

Have only heard coil whine when the fps is in the thousands (uncapped loading screens) which my old lightnings also had. Looking forward to finding its limit on air. Pretty happy overall.

So far even on air it seems pretty capable (like it straight up eats things)
54% fans....... if the fans were at 100% does that mean it would be at 70-75 degrees or sub 70? with an OC?
the more positive news I hear the more I want to mug UPS drivers looking for my card

I am trying to order the KINGPIN from Canada, Vancouver on a MasterCard but the damn system keeps telling me my address doesn't match ?! My address matches perfectly, **** is this garbage ?? I logged into my CC website and my adress in their system is EXACTLY the same as whatever i have put into the EVGA site. Maybe I should just stay with my reference 780 Ti. I'm simply frustrated at EVGA at the moment and their system...

PS: I just logged into my CC site and i see 4 transactions for $1.11 from EVGA. Clearly they tested my CC and it made the transaction, however the stupid system refused to complete my order ?!?!?!

Perhaps you should give them a call during business hours. I ordered on Wednesday morning and it's coming today. I live 4,378 KM across the continent in the same country though :\
CC transactions have never done that for me, had a friend with issues like that with Intel....... use a different CC man, that's why I have like 5.

This was it man... I have done a bunch of research and it looks like a 1480mhz 780 Ti compared to a 1200mhz only gives about 1-2 FPS difference in the MINIMUM FPS which is the most important fps. When EVGA fixes their miserable purchasing system i will buy from them. For now I'm just going to stick with my reference Gigabyte 780 Ti, flashed with Skyn3T bios. You might think I sound harsh but considering we pay through our noses for a direct EVGA order, i think i have a right to complain...

Huh finally, looks like I will get card little earlier. Now some people have firm in Munchen Germany and call EVGA and they have few cards and I tell immediately to order.
I can't wait mine shop in Serbia to order and we had problem with new tax in Serbia and if you buy card in shop in Serbia tax is 20% of price, government impose 20%.. GTX780 jump from 460 on 530-540e. Because of that as I will buy as GTX780 Classified. It's faster.

odd, you should get a call with any purchase over $500. You didn't happen to get $350 off or anything ? :)

No not at all, I paid the full price :) But I am from Europe, so maybe in EU they do not call to verify ? I called them myself yesterday to verify, but I called US customer service and they told me to call EU customer service and provided me with a number, so I called there today and it seems that my call gets redirected to some random german guy :D

I had the same issues. Try reversible your first two address lines and see. If that didn't work, definitely call them up - they helped me figure out the problem.

Alright, I finally managed to call them and the guy on the phone told me that it was absolutely new to him that I called to confirm my order, and that it was not necessary, lol.

I would pay the step-up,  shipping fees and an extra $50 for some one from EVGA to take two Kingpins to the post office for me.  I haven't even used my Classies yet,  just installed the backplate for easier shipping. But,  EVGA won't ship to APO...  :-(  SO SAD!

You aren't referring to the EVGA step-up program, are you? If so, you can't use it on any of these cards.

Where did you see these benches. I would be interested in looking at them. I would of thought it would add more the the mFPS.

Yep, no classy to classy step up. Made a rant about it in the step up forum. People came, saw, and laughed saying "what about those who bought reference?" I said they are not part of the club......DUH! No real point for anyone other then benchers to buy classifieds due to step up program not allowing those same classified owners to stay in their gpu tier....bah, ill stop

Very sad info.   I shall enjoy my Classies in their current state,  and wait patiently.   I guarantee I wouldn't be able to sell them,  as it took me 2 months to sell 2 660Tis that were only used for 2 months.  Military people will try to draw you down to nothing or steal it if they can.

Now,  I leave for Korea in 9 days,  and I should have most everything in 20 days time.... Then I will be fully rebuilding my systems.

Getting married right after Korea,  just got engaged last Saturday,  so,  the finished builds will be the last I do for quite some time.   I will probably be selling my original stuff so that I can get the classified system in its best possible standing and get a little return back for the 3770k and 760s.

OK, now I got mail they confirm me my card is ordered...
At the end of the next week I will have finally card with complete unlocked shaders but I can't say 100%.

Same is with selling card in Serbia, you can't imagine how hard is to sell such strong cards. I would sell faster two GTX760 example than one GTX780.
Special because I say I will not drop price how people want. I will drop to 450e max, and nothing under. They can go and buy new for 550e if want.
Because card is old 3 months and can 1200-1250MHz in benchmarks on stock voltage... and I will not give them for less than that.
Or they can go in pay GK104 if want, good luck. Special because every peace of hardware in Serbia from 1 January 2014 is 20% more expensive.
People talk it's not time to buy hardware now... xexexe xexe as tax is snow and they wait to melt down... it's not time now, for few months...
Over, new rules, take or leave. Price go up, monthly payment stay same and no back. I can give them non reference card for 100e less than reference, for same price as in Serbia cost EVGA GTX770 ACX, but under that no way. I would rather keep for self and look on shelf. Because GTX780 Classified 3 months old exactly same price as new EVGA GTX770 ACX is more than fair.

I agree 100%

While I was selling my Galaxy 660Tis, a guy sold his ASUS 660ti.  We bench marked them against each other,  as we were friend... And they were close but obviously not equal.  I was selling 2 of them for 350 and couldn't push them on anyone,  he sold his one for 400 in 3 days.

Lol, lot of times it's the brand/design that people want. When I was selling my ref 780s I had them posted, but also did a lot of footwork/sniping. I'd view other peoples same gpu fs ad's and Pm those Interested.....yes it may seem wrong, but nature of the salesman to give his card out even if talking to another salesman. Cutthroat.

Good luck...
Mine is ordered, now only I need to wait.
I payed first part, second when card arrive as before.

It's not brand problem in my country, example I didn't so someone to present GTX780Ti, none...
Maybe someone buy who don't came on forums, but very hard. GTX780 maybe 10 people on forums, everything else GTX760/ GTX770, and for that is whole discussion two week before someone buy what to choose, difference example 15-20e... And who present something I think many of them ASUS office give them hardware to make marketing and later they back after 2-3 days... Dead country, we are below Albania probably now... Only I still resist in fight against monopoly... Alone against all.

can you do me a huge favor and please test the memory.  Mine is terrible on both my cards, I hit 1500 core in firestrike and 1515 core in valley but the scores aren't great because of the mem clocks.  My hynix memory on the ti classy's blows the samsung memory away.  I want to to know if this is just a fluke or not.

I suppose that's from case to case. EVGA have Hynix memory enough and time to test careful and choose best for Classified Kingpin.
I think difference between Samsung and Hynix shouldn't be more than 2-3% avarage. I hear MSI will put Samsung in GTX780Ti Lightening too but they talk about very small numbers of cards, I don't know is that true.
Hynix memory is excellent.
