Yeah that is kind of strange since it is just about the most important thing about them.

nVidia would eat it if their vendors put that up there, after AMD's cards debuted, remember what they said?  They made claims that DX11 isn't a big deal, that AMD's lead into it wasn't a big deal.  Of course a vendor will forget to run their box designs by nVidia prior to mass printing.

My GTX260 box says so in the front with an arrow pointing to the side.  Maybe EVGA doesn't need to make it obvious, since they have been (I think) the only nVidia vendor offering such a program.  It is kind of like we know girls are girls, they don't have to flaunt any of their features as if anything about them was in question.

I don't think 40 replies counts.  Besides, some are among those who patiently wait or just have a certain eye for artwork.  Yeah they are just boxes, but design matters.  EVGA could have choosen to abandon their fonts for DOS fonts with a plain old beige box.

No,BFG has the tradeup program but you have 100 days instead of 90.And I must say a better pick of trade up cards.

What I find comical is that actual true correct released information on the 470/480 cards is so non existent that the top nvidia partner, as well as others, are trying to create a buzz and get publicity by releasing images of the box.

Yes we are all staring at images of the box the card will come in.  Is there seriously some reason nvidia is not releasing any details?  Is there an issue with the design? 

This is just comical to me.

It might have to do with the fact that others have been posting links to EVGA's competitors artwork in the past few days.  Why wouldn't EVGA take the opportunity to do a little early advertising on their own forums?

As for the rest of it...meh.  In a months time you'll have your answers.

I'm never bias when it comes to graphic design. As an art director I can't be.

So it's with honesty I say they are by far the best looking and most classy ones out yet. Not surprising as even the EVGA hardware always looks a class above.

Now lets hope the actual cards out perform others too

Thanks for sharing these guys! I love the mostly black, understated design. That's exactly the style I'm hoping the cards are. I can't wait until these cards are released. I will be F5'ing all night until I can insure my 2 EVGA 480's from the initial batch are overnighted and on my doorstep. I love EVGA! Keep up the good work! Especially the marketing team, you guys don't get enough credit!

i hope we get to see uber screenshots of the GTX 400 plastic clamshell packaging next, i just cant get enough! >.<
