I don't know how people can still rightfully think The Witcher 3 will 'kill this game' especially after all this info(and this is only the first info dump!).
The same reason why Battlefield "kills" Rising Storm/RO2: The Witcher is casualized, easier, more simple, and less demanding. And on the contrary, The Witcher is also less known, so people feel more exclusive and unique for liking it (much like Battlefield compared to Call of Duty). " I liek the Witcher! Bet u console gamrs never heard of that x DDD" is pretty much what it comes down to.

Instead of posting all the stuff my self. We haven't seen any of the tactical combat yet(the combat now looks more action focused) but all the reports from the behind closed door demo said that the tactics from Origin are back and were showcased in that demo.

Combat looks too action focused and too similar to TW2. Looks like a party-based action game, which annoys me. Otherwise the game is looking phenomenal.

There are videos of tactical combat from the Tactical View perspective, I would post that but I'm not sure if I should due to it being 'behind closed doors'. I just wanna see them working as a team, switching party members, selecting abilities...all in the regular third person view(Since that's how I play these games). But yeah, like you said..It's looking almost too good to be true. Truly amazing.

And yes, it surely deserves to be GOTY 2014. It could end up being one of the best games ever made, but no doubt all the big name sites will give The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite or GTAV GOTY. Though GTAV is much more deserving of that title than the other two likely candidates.
You must have stayed up late. Everything you listed is 2013. I think it's well established that The Witcher 3 has already won GOTY 2014 from big name sites like IGN. It's not as well known, it's cinematic, it has good graphics, and it still has a hype train behind it, so it won already. It's the new thing.

Wow. My bad, I fixed that. I don't think TW3 will win the overall GOTY from big sites. Though I'm sure the hype train will make it win best RPG or something.
