Very sorry to hear that Bill. I can only imagine. My mother had issues with RH incompatibility and myself and my younger brother almost didn't make it. Parents did try once before me, and I always wonder who that person would have been had he/she survived and if I would even be here had things gone differently. Stay strong and I wish you and your family the best.

Thanks guys. Life sure has its ups and downs. Everything happens for a reason. Many times we don't understand, but just have to accept it and just stay thankful for all the things in life that do go well. Baby Aria is 14 months and is a hand full. She's a little ham and thinks everything is funny. They're going to try again in a few months. It will be what its meant to be. Thanks again.

On a lighter note, we got some heavy wet snow and the new blower chewed it up and spit it out like a champ. So much better than shoveling. Yodap; I did go to the local Stewarts and the pump said 10% ethanol, I asked inside if it was 90/10 and they had no clue. I think it is a county by county requirement. I do remember buying 100% gas in Ulster Co. when ever I went there. Better gas millage, I think it was seasonal too, not 100% sure.

Yeah for sure. And so much easier to turn. The old one was a beast to turn around. Somehow it lets the wheels turn independently when not drive engaged, one wheel can go forward and one backward at the same time, that makes it able to spin ina circle in one spot. It feels lighter too, more balanced. Another cool feature is the auger lever will stay down and engaged as long as the drive lever is engaged. Release the driver lever and the auger lever disengages. Makes turning the shoot direction while keep moving forward easier. Hit the primer 3 times, turned on the choke and set it to fast. One pull it started right up. Hope it lasts as long as my last one.

I didn't know about the county thing bill. I know if I use it in all my small engine stuff, don't have to worry about stabilizing it as much. Totally agree about turning. The other day I got in a tight space and simply stepped around to the side and turned it with one hand. Next nor'easter: Tuesday-Wednesday........

bill1024 I got some really really bad news, she went for a checkup and sonogram. The baby is not growing and there is no heartbeat. I just feel so sick inside, the kids are devastated.
Our condolences Bill. Been there. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

Any one who owns the Intel dual socket 2011 S2600CP motherboards. I know a few here do. You should go ahead and update the boards BIOS and all the on board chips firmware. Follow the directions to the point where it says to put the files in a folder on the USB drive. Put the files right in the root directory not in a folder and it will be mounted and ask you to hit any key to continue. Made the board more stable and you can see what the BIOS is doing as it boots, and it boots faster. Wish i did it long ago, the new BIOS and firmware is from 2017 https://downloadcenter.in...-for-EFI?product=66133

Thanks Bill. Just double checked and it looks like I had already done this update at some point last year. I remember that startup was improved and I had less "strange goings on" than before. Runs pretty solid now and I just let it crunch away. I do get the occasional temporary hang/unresponsiveness but I chalk it up to buying refurb equipment and that I cheaped out with only 32gb RAM.

Woohoo opening day for major league baseball!!!! LETS GO YANKEES, LETS GO YANKEES... ... ... All Stand, here comes the Judge. Ahh baseball, NHRA racing is back in full force. Car cruise season will be starting soon. Daffodils are sprouting up. Spring has sprung. The trees are budding and will be green again, green grass. Warm days cool nights. Gets darker later at night giving us longer days. Birds will be coming back My favorite time of year. It is officially spring when I see the first Robbin, not seen one yet, but it will not be long now.

I did some reading up, sad to read they only live a couple years. There is one that comes with in a few feet of me when I am working in the garden. Seems to me it is the same one the last couple years. I see it, talk to it and try to call it over to me. It just sits there on the ground looking at me. It does come closer than it used to. Guess it is looking for grubs, slugs and bugs in my garden. I have had 30 or 40 at a time in the yard looking for worms/bugs. They fly South for they winter. Kinda smart, why they say "he has a bird brain" is so bad. If I were smart, I would go South in the Winter too. I bet you must of seen them when you lived near here, maybe just did not noticed them.

For some reason - maybe because we we close to a busy road in RI - we didn't get to see a lot of birds even as we were surrounded by wood on three sides. In NY I don't recall seeing birds either. It was dark when we were home and on Sundays we took trips. However back in Denmark we had a lot of birds at our feeders. Upstate on trips I recall being fascinated by the red-winged blackbird - so elegantly dressed. Our robins act like yours. Sit on the handle of your spade five feet away while you use another tool. Looks at you as if he's in trouble and needs help - but he really wants to chase you away from his territory. And yes, grubs is what drives him. And the bird brain is smart making them migrate (when they have the strength). It is estimated that 1/3 of our variety of the Carolina wren has perished due to one month of adverse late winter weather.

Just wanted to put this out there for those interested in crypto. There is another coin that is awarding you for crunching WCG. You do not have to switch teams. AND they will also reward you for the points you have already earned up till now. I created a how-to here https://hardforum.com/threads/how-to-earn-byteball-running-wcg-distributed-computing.1959820/ if anyone is iterested. I was awarded $150 pretty much immediately setting it up. I have no stake in the coin outside of signing up. Figured it could help some other DC'ers with their hobby. I will point out that the WCG link I posted for signing up is H's recruiting link. So, if anyone doesn't want to be on our team should essentially just sign up directly. However, for those already on a team, you can completely skip that portion.

AB, make sure you have C++ 15 installed, both x86 and 64 to run Enigma or it will error out.
