How aboutgetting a BR for the effort of being the first =EGC= Member to reach level 50, Top point scorer, CG kills/percentage on BF BC2?
Show me some love....

no one likes a show off and definitely is not BR worthy IMHO

Falcon definitely deserves a blue ribbon for going above (giving his number and walking him through it) and beyond to help solve mrcairo's problem.

I see no reason why this is not BR worthy.. But he said he does not want one?!?! (Post)

http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=582320
boredgunner was very knowledgable about psu's and I think most people who read this learned something because I sure did and will be using his advice for my next build
OK.. This one I have to be careful one and remind folks about my rules. There are a couple of close calls in there for TOS violations (Fanboys for example). Not to mention a one sided opinion being expressed without supporting documents. However, his first post is exactly what is BR worthy. That said, in this situation I choose to honor a BR for his first post, and not offer you a BR because of the rules above...

http://forums.evga.com...p;m=578677&mpage=1
I normally wouldnt do this but I believe adam2013 and myself earned a blue ribbon in helping kaitounala solve his problem and giving a lot of good information. It ended up being a simple fix but I dont think we left a stone unturned in trying to solve it and trying to help him even after it was solved
My wife said you deserve a BR for your Avatar.. joke ... But yes. This is a perfect example of a BR worthy set of posts that qualifies for a BR... And frankly I am having a hard time not giving you two beause of the continued effort ...  adam2013 has put forth a good offer to help, but not to the extents of yourself or trilogy3337. However it seems that this thread is not yet complete since even finding out his APC is to small, the system still crashes. So if he gets back in that thread and the OP responds (Even if by PM's BTW) let me know. I may change my mind on not giving him a BR... trilogy3337 was also granted a BR for his effort. That is actually solid advice and has in the past been the best advice given to others.
WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=577977
another one where boredgunner helps someone else out with a power supply question and even after sigep gets a new power supply he continues to help him and push him to make everything perfect
This one is not BR worthy. Yes help was given, but not to a BR worthy extent.

http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=219556
I know jedi95 already got a blue ribbon for the program but I believe he deserves a lot more than 1 for all the work hes put in, the amount of people who can fold bc of his program and all the support he does for the people who use his program. He is an outstanding contributor to our efforts to pass the horde and thats why I believe he should get a bunch of blue ribbons because if the questions posted were new posts he would be up for a blue ribbon everytime with his answers
Agreed, honored, but not a part of this thread because he already had a few BR's. But there is no reaon for a person to not get another BR if they help like he did with your question. I honored that one BR because it was in September (Refer to the rules).

Thanks AB. I didnt mean to leave trilogy out of my post but I had been in class and was skimming the threads I had bookmarked and overlooked him by accident. The reason I recommended jedi for multiple was he has helped me through pm's  also. I have one final request though

Can I get an AB was here lol

edit
I dont know if this was before or after you saw the thread but adam2013 made a post about 2 hours ago

kaitounala

yes but i did have one crash when my system was still overclocked at 4 ghz, i want to test that again later, since 4 ghz isnt really a far jump from what the factory setting is, also im still having a raid controller problem.

In order for us to rule out your OC as a cause of the crashes, please bring everything back to stock clocks. Some CPUs are really touchy when they are OC'd and can't tolerate much.

kaitounala

windows tried to fix it but didnt find the drivers, ive downloaded them and put them on a usb thumb drive but it doesnt boot em, how do i load them on the usb/thumb drive, that is in a way that will allow it to detect it when booting.

In order for Windows to see the thumb drive, you have to make it bootable. Follow the steps in this link to make the drive bootable. Just skip the part where you copy an OS over. Instead, copy your drivers.

I am not sure if this will work to update your drivers as I have never messed with a RAID card.  If it doesn't, you can always try booting into safe mode.

Is it possible for one to receive more than one BR on a thread??? I am still actively helping this member after MANY hours....sticking with assisting him until all is well with his system....shouldn't that count for something extra? EDIT: I could have just left him hanging after I got my BR...but, I'm not the kind to do that.

http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=545170

This is a very good question. I remember this thread. Just so you know..... You may have received the BR in one of the earlier posts... But you Earned it by sticking it out, following through and helping the OP out.

Could you or a person earn more than one in a post? sure of course. But the spirit of the BR in not about giving one for every single good post. The spirit is rewarding those that kind of go above and beyond so to speak. Because it happens, and that needs to be recognized some how. Otherwise if we gave them out for simple things all the time... We do not have nor would have anything to give for those above and beyond post(s) like the ones you did there.

Actually, I earned the BR early too.......long before the "sticking it out" even started.....I feel that I have "gone above and beyond" and I will continue to do so....2nd BR or not. Thank you.

+1, Definitely not a BR post right there a good example of what one shouldn't be I will say. Great post AB love to see the appreciation for the helpful posts in the forums, I was actually complaining about a month ago when I joined that there were too few BR's I guess my wish came true, thanks again AB, if you're ok with this AB but

Perfectly good set of post there my friend!! Very nice... Sadly.. As stated in my first post... Quote "The most BR Worthy post they have read in the month of September so far that has NOT gotten the BR it deserves.... Will also get a BR."/quote AKA Sept 2010... Not July...

Once members become MODs.... Getting a BR almost never happens again. Even if we do get one I think Shane has to be the one to give it. And he is a lot like Mr. Scrooge with those ... But really to be a MOD we pretty much have been gong above and beyond for a while and frankly getting BR's was nice, but being able to help the community on a larger scale is reward enough

did not know that, thanks much

Just a friendly reminder folks... This thread is here to help us in a positive fashion. I have deleted a handful of posts that do not honor the spirit of this thread as I asked for in the first post. Nothing bad mind you, just not productive to us learning more about BR's. I have sent all of thse that I deleted their post(s) a PM explaining why and what... ...

So keep those links coming! Whatcha got????

I think Falcon helps out around here more than we realize and Yer Buddy did better detective work than I did.

NO, NO...I couldn't find it and you did !! Besides I got one already for something else and I don't want to be a pig. He might not like it anyway, The Burner has been tough on the draw with those ribbons. I do feel someone who he helped, should dig up something for Falcon

I was toying with the idea that my volt mod thread would get a BR at some point, but I'm not too surprised it hasn't.  It was my third thread on the subject and I didn't get BRs in the past.  I assume that EVGA doesn't award for voiding warranties?  Any official comment?
