I just keep telling myself our cards are due at Adorama any day and that any day everyone will be posting that they got tracking info. It's the only thing keeping this entire launch a little less depressing.
I mean they took an exact, limited number of pre orders and ALL the SKU's are now officially released. It has to be soon...right?...






Right? Would be awesome if someone from EVGA could simply chime in and confirm if they have stock actively heading to Adorama or not.

Totally, I have a 2080Ti to tide me by until the 3080 shows up. I'm much happier in the preorder/backorder boat than the mad rush F5 boat. That boat is worse than the Titanic. Fingers crossed the Adorama orders show up sooner rather than later even though I paid more for the XC3 black than on Evga's website. I would rather do that, than the scalpers get a dime from me.

I too am suffering with my 2080 Ti hybrid in the time being, getting 80 FPS when I could be getting 85 FPS.  Sigh.

Going back to someone making a friendly bet as to when Adorama will get our cards... I am estimating another 10-14 days, so I’m hoping by the end of the first week of October.

I’m going to be tweeting Jacob at some point in the near future to simply ask if any batches of cards have been dispatched to Retailers, in particular Adorama. I’m certain nothing has been sent as of today.

I just assume that if they're stocking their own website, they're also sending inventory to retailers too.
But yeah...sure would be nice to have someone from EVGA at least say yes, we have cards en route to Adorama or no, we do not have cards going to them currently....or just an eta thats better than "before November" or something equally as vague.

The back and forth I saw on Twitter seems to indicate Adorama gets cards through a middle-man of some sort.. just no idea who that is or how big they are.
 
I figure they're supplying Newegg/Amazon storefronts directly, so hopefully some quantity is allocated to the Adorama type markets already. Purely guessing.

They're a certified/official EVGA retailer. Not sure why they wouldn't receive their inventory directly from EVGA like any other retailer would.

In your defense, I thought they were too because they're listed on the 'Where to Buy' page :)
 
But I saw a few tweets from Jacob that Mkilbride2599 referred and so I figured that was the case.

I wouldn't even be mad that I keep missing them if the site wouldn't crash every time due to bots and I was actually given a fair shot at getting one. Against bots, it's not a fair play. It's getting lucky that the website doesn't crash before you can get your order through, not just being the fastest person.

Yeah, but where is that somewhere else? EVGA? Bots take it. Newegg? Bots take it or they send you a busted up card. NVIDIA? Bots or website fails.
 
You don't get charged until it ships on Adorama. So there's no problem in holding off and trying for elsewhere in the meantime. It's a solid back up as any.

It's the only way to get a card since not one single site is capable of running smooth for a purchase. I'm keeping my backorder and will try to get one from somewhere other that FLEABAY aka scalper city.

adorama is a gamble, i am on back order with them too but i don't think its worth it really.

I think you'll see more stock go up on EVGA's site before they fullfill all the preorders from places like Adorama and the likes.

Why not "worth it"?
They dont charge you until it ships. I mean, actually having been able to PLACE AN ORDER at all is already better than what the foreseeable future holds trying to get one here or anywhere else for that matter. Worst case you do actually manage to get one somewhere else and simply cancel the Adorama back order.
