Was able to get a FTW3 off newegg tonight, cancelling my adorama order so someone will move up in the line.

I'm jealous. :(

Any updates on any orders from Adorama yet?

So not really related 100%, but apparently people who pre-ordered their PNY cards a day earlier are starting to get them.
 
 
On a related note, a few people got their FTW3's, apparently Adorama had a "first batch" that went to the people who got their order in early.

Nah. I got my order in before you remember? By a few minutes. Almost near the start and I wasn't that first batch. :P
 
2 weeks would be nice though.

They didn't, as far as I'm aware. But a first batch went out and the next one has no ETA.

The times and order# do not have any correlation as order# 777 was ordered earlier than #767
 
Also, the follow up email regarding the gpus still being in backorder at Adorama refer to a different order number, mine ending in 755 and markuaw1 ending in 115

im on backorder for an xc3 gaming. was the 18th the only day they did preorder for those?

Now in Stock's comment section. Lost to the annals of history at this point. But I saw multiple people mention it over the course of hours. \
 
Aconverting for t time zone, my own order was like 7:27 PST. No idea how long it was up before that
 
And yeah, Adorama is Jewish, so they will I imagine.  Their website says it as well.

 
Yeah, this will probably eat up a lot of our time.

Did anyone provide any pics on nowinstock? Site has so many trolls, 120+k comments and 90% are people bull****ting lol

I don't see a reason for them to troll, I thought about screenshots, but did not.

Could be a month or two. No way to know. It could be they ship out tomorrow.

Just had an Nvidia 3080 FE in my cart and the button said checking out... only for it to disappear.  SO PISSED OFF!!!  If I don't get my Adorama card by the time they release the AMD cards I'm switching.  This is ridiculous 

AMD won't magically be any better.  Will probably sell out just as fast.

Surely can't be any worse...

I just purchased a 2070 Super and going to enter the step up program. Seems like it would be quicker than places like this.

The 2070S FTW3 is a great card, make sure you crank up the power limit. 
 
You'll probably get your step up card some time in Feb or March.
 

WARNING
Anyone currently considering buying a lower end card to get in the step up que needs to fully read and understand the terms:



- When I stepped up to a 2080 Ti in mid-2019 it took me about a month to complete the process and have a 2080 Ti in hand.  This was well after the launch in Sept '18.  It took months for some of the people who signed up in '18.

- I did it because I wasn't getting enough out of the 2080 I had bought for 4K gaming, 2080 Ti's were generally available at the time from many sources.

- You reserve your step-up model at Step 1, so any step-ups started now get the FTW3 card

- Supposedly Step-Up cards are from *available inventory* and are normally reference cards.  If vendors are demanding cards and cards are constantly selling out, there will not be cards made available, or maybe they will make just a few available at a time.  Step-ups are last priority for who gets cards.

- If reference cards are in lower demand / higher availability, eventually they will be the Step-Up option, this could change any day.

- People have been discussing doing step-up on various other forums for the last month or so.  The list is a mile long now and anyone serious about it signed up right when it became live.

- The program is to allow people to upgrade who need more performance, not to "pre-order" them.

- There is extremely high demand for 3080 step-ups, far more than 2080 Ti's two years ago.

- You definitely will be able to buy a card outright in the next month or two, faster than using step-up.

- The only way I would step up right now is if I HAD TO ABSOLUTELY get a gpu for my machine RIGHT NOW and was OK with waiting several months, paying full MSRP, and the downtime to step up.  Granted, this does let you spread out the cash outlay.

- IMHO, anyone who orders a lower card TODAY and starts a step-up when they get it, will not get a step-up 3080 in hand until some time in 2021.
