Man and the 5900X was such a bust today too. I am so let down.
 
It's a CPU. A CPU! and it sold out in under 1s.

My XC3 Ultra Gaming 3080 is still "Backordered" from 9/18 @ 8am. 
 
I will keep everyone updated if I see any movement - I still have hope that the chat rep was truthful when saying that he checked my order # and it will be fulfilled next week.
 
We'll see eh...

Really interesting that EVGA also just mistakenly sent out emails that FTW3 3080 Gaming cards were back in stock to some people too....

Ohhh, that was an EVGA email.  That makes more sense now as I'm only on the auto notify list for cards OTHER than the one I have backordered at Adorama!

My debit card was just charged this morning for the full amount - Even though my account Orders still says Backordered but also you don't get charged for items until they are in stock/about to be fulfilled. So I am happy to say that I am sure I will get an email here in the next day or two about it being shipped/processing.

Whoa, hold up. I too have a charge on my paypal from Adorama as of yesterday.
Only thing weird is that its a random amount. $39.43
I paid $37.75 for overnight shipping.
Maybe its a shipping pre authorization charge?
I don't know, but I have to admit that I'm excited to see some sort of action!
Edit: The paypal transaction says: This is a temporary authorization to make sure your payment method will cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when Adorama Camera Inc. completes your order.

I should note that I never had any sort of pending charge from them when I first made the order in September, so this is definitely new action.

Yes, FTW3 Gaming. Not getting my hopes up much. It's not a full charge. But it's definitely new activity. I never had any sort of pre authorization before through this whole pre order. SO it seems pretty random to get a charge now if it isn't about to ship?

Called them to see what the authorization meant. Couldn't understand a damn thing the dude was saying since his English was so bad. All I gathered from the entire conversation is my item is still on backorder with no ETA from the manufacturer...so...guess that's that and the wait continues...

I still find it extremely random to have a charge for a random amount out of nowhere when I never had a charge before.

Nah, think I got my hopes up for nothing. Pretty sure it still isn't shipping any time soon. Maybe the one guy above who got a full charge, but FTW3 Gaming still looks like a no go. Stupid.
