GC you are a truly gifted designer and fabricator, your rigs are a work of art!!! Where did you get the mother board rear panels that support the add-in cards and where the mb connectors stick out? Also in the very first set of photos where did you get the 5.25" and 3.5" cages? Thanks!

The mobo back plane was purchased here: http://www.mountainmods.com/mountain-mods-modular-io-panel-p-486.html The 5.25 bays and the 3.5 bays were all made from scratch out of acrylic, 1/8" on the first pic's and 1/4" on the final design.

Whoa. That is one sick looking chassis you've got there. You've obviously spent a great deal of time putting this together. Great job! =)

thats sick man, an amazing build. your temps do seem a bit high. My i7 920 was running at around the same temps on an idle 4.2 with only an h50. my current wc build is socket 775 so i cant really relate, it sounds as though some tinkering could go a long way though, with such high quality components and an extremely well planned loop and a case like that you should probably be idling a bit lower, 30ish? once again though ive only ran a 920 on an h50, so i could be way off. Either way, amazing craftmanship you really need to start getting rich off these

Ya, your temps seem a bit off... I am running a i7 930 at 4.0ghz full time and my idle temps are ~ 34-38 degrees Celsius ( depending on the core ). and I am using an Corsair H50 as well. But DAMN! that is one awesome case you built yourself there.

teng247 Beautiful build Kirk! Temps do seem a bit high. Whats the order on your loops? Thanks guys!!! Much appreciate the comments!!!! I guess it could be due to the loop off the cpu. It goes pump/res - rad- cpu - mobo - memory - and back to pump/res. The gpu's are on their own loop. So iguess a few degrees warmer might be normal?

Absolutely stunning work Kirk! I am not usually a fan of acrylic cases, but your builds (and this one in particular) have always been the exception in my eye. Can't wait to see the final pics!

Still the temps are nothing to worry about though. How high do you plan to OC? BTW the build was worth the wait. Looks soooo sexy!

Thanks guy's!!!! Always the best compliments from everyone!!! The fan grill/filters are almost complete. All grills will be magnetically attached to the outter case panels using magnetic self adhesive flex sheets and will have black nylon sandwiched in between for a filter. We just went with a basic design. Rad fan filters 140mm and 120mm fan filter/grills We did have an empty 5.25 bay for now and needed to make a mount for the ECP. The front cover is 147mm wide and 42mm high and we used 1/4" acrylic The cut for the ECP was 86mm wide by 28mm Side mount pieces were also 1/4" acrylic and holes were cut to hold 6-32 threaded inserts. Holes are 4.762mm in diameter to fit the inserts. Gluing the sides to the front covers using Weld On #16 Mounted and setting to fully dry... Just wanted to give you a size comparisson. In the second pic there's a Coolermaster Storm Scout sitting in front of the case... Just waiting on the magnetic sheet roll and some wires for the sata power and molex power...oh, and the psu cover which will be done tomorrow. Almost finished after a long time of trial and errors!!!!
