bcavnaugh Anyone Test with NVIDIA Driver 391.01?
Will tonight ;)
Both default clocks and overclocked.
Just tested both scenarios with new driver, same result, 117% limit in both cases. :(

Hey look, another Nvidia driver has been released and no fix again! Hey EVGA, could you please visit this thread and just tell us all to go to hell on any type of fix :)?

Should it not be "Hey NVIDIA, could you please visit this thread and just tell us all to go to hell on any type of fix :)?" Nice use of words by the way.

Perhaps everyone should flood Nvidia support asking the status, considering this is not even listed as a known issue in the driver notes. If they respond with them not knowing anything about it ask them who is lieing considering EVGA reports Nvidia is working on it

Smart above.
So I finally updated the drivers today to 390.01?
Nothing different in superposition 8k test.
123% was the highest power spike I seen. Mostly below 117%.
I also tried the test with default clocks and maxed power/temp/voltage sliders. And max over clock.
So all is the same.

One more response from EVGA to my another request. Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us about this issue. We are currently looking into this with Nvidia and are hoping to come to a resolution or reason for this limitation that has been effecting certain cards. I apologize for the delay, as we are working with engineers on both sides to come up with an answer.
I do recommend checking back at the Forum post regularly as this should be updated by a tech when we have more information. We are working diligently on this and we thank you for your patience.
Regards, EVGA
Doesn't sound that it is THAT clearly identified that it is indeed driver problem, most likely some compatibility issue, now it's a tug of war on who needs to fix it.

There are two executable inside rar, primary.exe and secondary.exe. What is that and how to use them, a little nervous about executables from unknown sources.
