Conceptually, I sorta of wish some of the premise for the game came from sources like Macross Frontier with nomadic colony fleets as places to visit. Not seen anything like that in design concepts though. The everywhere is a fixed position planet is sorta going to get overwrought after awhile. They need variety in order to keep things interesting.

Really getting close to Hanger time!
Does any one know if we can look around at the ships in each others hangers?

No sense in listening to 40 minutes of waiting on bad German translations of the English interview so I cut them out. 20 minutes > 60 minutes IMHO. And yes, today they broke through another million dollar stretch goal roday. They're now at $16,013,374.
