The problem is, even if eth goes down, there are countless other coins to mine and I'm sure one of them will be the next big mining craze... we can only hope that there's a bit of reprieve where the gpu market can start going to actual gamers and stocks can be readily available

Nop , pow proof of work gpu asic mining is replaced by pos proof of stacking for environment most coins already use or migrated to pos , there also other ways like disk mining etc , the other mineable coins are not very demanded this is bad for them because once ethv2 is out all go migrate from them to those sht coins , there are millions of miners those poor coins will fall down because their profitability will be down because to much people mining increasing mining difficulties and taking $ from those coins that are not much demanded by people the coins will keep losing $ or profit for miners will end 0 to most contry …

I think some very viable PoW coins are out there. I wouldn't call them s**tcoins. There are 2 off the top of my head I'm excited about, RVN and ERG. Both are fairly new (2 to 3 years old). Also there is an upcoming eth fork continuing with PoW.

Yea eth mining will end they already sayd imagine millions miners for those coins that are not much in demand miners want their $ just imagine the impact of all taking $ from those coins they will not be profitable , they are not usefull coins alot better born but not using pow , mining is ending

It is really interesting how many factors such a crypto currency depends on and how extremely they fluctuate, so that sometimes you just can't understand why the price rises sharply or suddenly falls sharply again.

i think OP gpus its not only because of miners , its because of scalpers who take all high demand product to resell it for double price and get profit , miners pay double price thats the problem and scalpers still have double triple prices , if they will not buy for that price , scalper will drop down his price

What is shocking about these is how quickly they rise and fall. You can look at Bitcoin and say it's crashing because it's down 40% but really it's what it was selling for in January. ETH has been pretty much flat from a month ago and is way up from what it was in January. As for Doge it seems like Elon pumped it up and then cashed out and let it sink. I don't really see it having a comeback since it seemed like a flash of interest.

I actually think over the short term we'll see cards *increase* in price because of the new limiter cards. Miners will bid up the prices of the nonlimited cards. Time will tell
