Sorry! I'm not interested in getting a block, I just think the project is cool and want to help out since I'm not using the board for anything. BTW, I was thinking of asking around on some other places I'm registered if anyone is interested. Should I have them post here, send you an email, or something else?

Thanks for helping out man! Any reason why you're ditching the Micro 2? Phil

The main reason is the CPU socket is too close to the top PCIe slot so I can't fit a large air cooler. Which is too bad, because I've used the Micro1, Micro2, Gigabyte X99M-Gaming 5, and ASUS X99-M WS and the Micro2 would be my pick if it wasn't for that. Well, the USB header location is an issue with SLI but that's fixable with the low-profile extension EVGA sells.

Really? I would have bought the Asus if not for its crippled M.2 slot! You can still use a PCI-E extender or watercool the CPU instead. Phil

I'm currently using the ASUS but I have an Intel 750 (add-in card version) so while I would have liked a non-crippled M.2 it wasn't a deal-breaker. I also have dual 980s so between that and the 750 all 5 slots in my case are used. I do have the CPU water cooled right now with a NZXT X41 but even with the pump running at 6V I can still hear the pump buzz so I'm going to switch it to the Noctua C14 once the SilverStone SX700-LPT comes out. A custom loop isn't an option because I swap parts around for testing too often.

I have had good luck with the Enermax Liqmax 2 240 cooler for an all in one, pump is quiet and it dose a great job at cooling everything. I use it in my test bench and all I hear is the fans more than anything else, so now I guess we need 4 more people??

Nate, I signed up for a new account here just to get in on this; I had an account on EVGA before, but I couldn't successfully recover my account.
I would be interested in a block as well, either two separate ones, or a mono. I would offer to ship my board to you to fabricate the block. - Cody S.

Guess there is little demand to put the chipset and VRM on water from an OCing standpoint nowadays.

Sad, I would be in if I had one. I know that EVGATech_EddieH had mentioned some interest, I will mention it to him again. If I had the board I would buy one in a heartbeat. I got the VRM and mobo block for my Dark and they are awesome. Good luck guys, if you can get a little more interest I am sure you will love the results, he makes excellent products.

Just signed up to register my interest in this, so count me in! I'd love to see a mono block if at all possible or just seperate blocks is just as good, that is, if this is still alive.

I do, I'm not using it so I can send mine or you can, doesn't matter to me since I don't need the block itself.

So you own the board, but you are not using it, and you have no plans to watercool it?

I ended up going with the ASUS X99-M WS. I was going to sell my Micro2 but I slightly bent one of the CPU pins while testing so I don't feel comfortable selling it so I just having sitting around.
