You can no longer delay feature updates and can only delay ANY update for about a month.

I use the wushowhide tool to put the whammy on updates after setting my wireless connection to metered..Gives me a chance to wait and see if there's any issues being reported..Hide them from Windows Update forever if you want to so they never get shown/installed..Can unhide/install them anytime you want..There are some updates that can't be hidden though, but very few, it seems like only .NET Framework updates for me.
 
Create a Basic Task in Task Manager to run the wushowhide tool on a schedule if you want to.

KB4571756 breaks DX9 games in Windows 10. Afterburner OSD won't work and games crash when alt-tabbing out of the game and trying to go back into the game. I got several crashes in DX9 games with this update installed. Uninstalled the update and everything was back to normal! Typical Microsoft. They are forcing updates more now on Windows 10 v2004 as well. You can no longer delay feature updates and can only delay ANY update for about a month. I feel like Microsoft never "gets it"...

I have try test any games in DX9 after update KB4571756 here so far no issue here!! 
And glad the windows Defrags is fixed and more other fix the issue! So I have no issue with KB4571756!

Yes I using Afterburner here running! I played Track mania and Wars of Tanks also OSD is running good here!

What version of Afterburner? Did you try to alt-tab from full screen mode and try clicking back in the game?

P.S I always play GTA or other DX11 and 12 did use ALT-TAB there no issue too

Alright, I'm done with this conversation. Uninstalling the update fixed two issues for me on all 3 of my computers... I think it's safe to say it was the update.

Microsoft has pulled the plug on the Windows 10 ‘KB4559309’ update that was reportedly killing system performance after it rolled out automatically earlier in the year.

Grumbling on Microsoft forums appears to have done the trick, as the Redmond company has pushed out a new update to replace the reportedly dodgy one in the form of KB4576754. So far it appears to be working properly, as there are no reports of system slowdown and installation problems, according to Windows Latest.

The KB4559309 update had been designed to replace the old version of Microsoft’s Edge browser with the Chromium-based Edge browser. The new browser has been built to have more support for a variety of features, such as 4K streaming, as well as being able to access Google Chrome extensions.

All is well!      

So after reading your post two days ago I checked the View Optional Updates and saw KB4576945 was indeed present so I clicked to download and waited for the Restart System that took longer than usual to popup than finally it did but upon restarting I was greeted with another Restart System. It seems Microsoft snuck in the Cumulative Preview Update KB4577063 for the first restart I did not give the go ahead for or any idea about it?

Yes I noticed you can't just set it for 21 days (for example), you can only click the "pause updates for 7 more days" up to 5 times, but once that time is reached, it is set back to zero again for all future updates... you have to go back in and reset it every single time to 7/14/21/28/35 days again. Not sure when that changed, but clearly intentional to wear people down.

Not even if under Windows update you Open " Advanced options" ?

Correct. Even under advanced options, you can select a specific date up to 35 days in the future, but once you reach that date, you will need to set it again for future updates, and again when that date is hit, and so on. I would prefer to have it set to always delay all updates by ~21 days no matter what, but you can't do that now.
