Thanks, I'll check it out.  I had to update to all the "problematic" feb and march stuff last week as my "push to delay 7 more days" button ran out of pushes.  I did a O&O Diskimage first just in case but no issues so far.  Good to hear this new one is good too.  Will probably add it after work today (teleworking).

Updated to 1909 April update KB4549951 last night. Today the MS Windows Mail app ("Mail and Calendar" app) wouldn't download any Gmail.com email messages, only Microsoft email messages (Outlook.com account). I removed the Gmail account from the app then went to add it back on again, as this has fixed issues in the past.. now the app crashes every time I try to even go to "manage accounts" where you can add email accounts. Nice one MS. Going to try uninstalling.
 
edit: uninstall / restart / reinstall and set up - seems to be working now. Assuming the Windows update borked it since I hadn't installed anything else.

I got this yesterday as well through Windows Update. From what I read it is not an optional update and will be automatically install than the computer will need to be restarted. Also as of yet there is no information provided on what the microcode update consisted of?

No problems to report.


I got this yesterday as well through Windows Update. From what I read it is not an optional update and will be automatically install than the computer will need to be restarted. Also as of yet there is no information provided on what the microcode update consisted of?




Unfortunately, Microsoft has not updated the release notes for this update to include what has been changed. We will have to wait until the support bulletin is updated with new information to determine what has changed.
