Got my parts and finished the build yesterday, some of the bends are definitely not as clean as I'd like but the case is very tiny and the bend radius required was probably on the tight side. Not to mention it's my first build so I was learning as I went. Pics:

Well done. I spent days getting my bends how I wanted them and they still didn't come out the way I had hoped!

Hey thanks!

Looks like I'm waving goodbye to the AIO clan, gonna attempt my first custom loop in a couple of weeks with a 1080ti and mostly EK parts, hardline/PETG.
EK's single slot block looks too sexy.

Any important tips?

CPU & GPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X / Nvidia RTX 3080 FE (Both EK Water Blocks)

Not sure I would have done what is marked in Yellow;
Click on Image for a Larger View.

Always open to criticism! Any reason why in particular?

It looks like you are doubling up the thermal padding. This will reduce the efficiency of the thermal pad quickly. Also, it looks like its sitting higher than the the other thermal pads which will cause some dissipation problems as well.

Not doubling up, that section of the GPU (VRMs?) Sits higher than elsewhere. The EKWB is machined this way as well with a deeper pocket on the higher sitting VRMs.

Where it looks like there's overlap, it was trimmed up and fits nicely now so nothing should be overlapping.

Chokes normally do not have Thermal Pads on them even under an Air Cooler is all.
All Full Cover Water Blocks are machined that way.

Got it. I'll keep an eye on everything and do a check up soon. When I do, I'll make sure everything looks alright and pull the pad off of there. Thanks!

Here are the photos of the block. From the looks of it, it seems like the 1080 Ti cover on top can stay on SLI, no need to take it off. When compared to the Titan Xp model you can see that they centered the block on the top so that the Logo can stay on SLI. This block is definitely different than the Titan Xp block and not an exact copy of it with the logo added on top.

So far my Temp never went above 49C @ 2138 Folding and Crunching.
Remember to the Pads on the Back Side Between the Card and Back Plate, The Stock Plate comes with 4.
I have the EX Back Plates and added 4 for a Total of 8 Pads if I recall.

My temps won't go over 40*C at +175 (starts getting a bit less stable above that). I was folding all day.
The stock back plate only had one small pad on it when I removed it... I saw the places on the board that said "thermal pad 1" etc but nothing was there originally.

I would not fit anyway the FTW cards are more than an Inch Higher than the FE Models.
Height: 4.376in - 111.15mm FE
Height: 5.618in - 142.69mm FTW

Also ATM
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FOUNDERS EDITION, 11G-P4-6390, 11GB GDDR5X IN STOCK

are you talking about the pcb height or the whole card? I would imagine that the pcb on the ftw3 would be similar to the Titanxp. anyone know for sure. If I could order the ekwb block for the titanxp which they have and it would fit perfectly for the ftw3 that would be great. then I wouldn't have to wait an additional 2 weeks to put the cards on water.

Starting to look like a Hydro Copper Water Block

Definitely looks nice. It seems like they will releasing LED logos because they mention them on the instructions. You can exchange the top logo to an LED one

I did Rush UPS. Also, be aware of a few things... Customs called me about the package, so you will likely received a call when the package ships. In addition, UPS charged me a brokerage fee on delivery related to the package coming from outside the US (I did not expect that) on delivery payable only by check.

Yea. But mine hasn't even been shipped yet. If it's not shipped by the weekend I will probably cancel the order and just wait for the phanteks block, which will supposedly be released on the 20th.

You can shoot them an email. What kind of shipping did you choose? I know some of the options said they were shipping 14th, 18th, etc.... I chose Rush which said 'shipping April 7th' but of course the blocks did not come out until the 11th so I expected the wait.

Like was said above, if one item is backordered or out of stock (fitting, cable, etc) they will hold the whole shipment until available. Check to see if that is the case, it might be something that you can take out of the order and buy in your local Micro Center or other computer hardware store. I had to order a few EK things online from Performance-PCs and locally at Micro Center because they were not available at EKWB.com

My plan was to go the aio route, modifying the 1080 hybrid kit to fit my Ti FE. Instead, I get this:

h t t p s://i.imgur.com/7Xp319z.jpg

Moral of the story, if an amazon reseller has an 83% approval rating, they probably suck and there's a reason for it. $100 was hard to pass on, and at least amazon is refunding my money.
