I went with the Titan Pascal copper/ acetal block for my 1080 ti Founders. Cheaper then the 1080 ti blocks and will serve my purposes adequately. Unfortunately the wonderful USPS pulled their infamous "delivered to your door or porch" confirmation move on Friday 4/7.  So I am still waiting for the block to perform its "pre-requisite" rattling around in the back of some guys mail truck, before it is actually delivered to me.

My EK-WB custom loop materials, including 1080 Ti blocks, arrive today. I problably won't have time to set it up until the weekend but will post some photos, if possible. I am impressed with the shipping... package shipped yesterday early from Slovenia and it's out for the delivery by UPS today in the US. I did get a call from Customs yesterday asking me what was in the box. Really did not expect that. lol

Just be careful not to mix aluminum and copper in your closed loop cooling systems!  That's why I always get the nickel plated EKWB waterblocks.  Problem solved!

Did you purchase directly from EKWB? Or was it a non-US site?

I thought the ti blocks weren't shipping until the 13th.

I would really love to see a HC 1080 Ti.
In the process of building a new computer and would like a card with the blocks already installed so I don't mess up with the height of the card. Having them installed from the beginning should minimize error in the measurements.

I purchase directly from EKWB and it shipped from Slovenia (that's were they are located). The 1080 TIs shipped and are included in the package. The official release date was 4/12; I guess they had them already 4/10-4/11 so they could ship for arrival on 4/12.

Don't worry!  Nvidia will piss everyone off again when in a few months they release Volta...leaving a very 'bad taste' in the wallets all those who bought into the 1080/1080Ti/TitanXP/TitanXp charade.

I can handle and understand a few months passing and new cards coming out. It is just the way it is and it has happened with every piece of tech I've owned for the past 30 years.... A few weeks, yeah... that would leave a bad taste. With AMD back in the competition, who knows what will happen.

I wouldn't be surprised if VEGA wipes the floor on Nvidia's Pascal line and are forced to release Volta or slash current prices.

Hahah... I remember back in like... 1996 or something.... whenever it was I moved on from 486 to Pentium... got a 75 mhz machine and I think it was obsolete before I got home from the store.

Pentium 75, 90, 100, 133, 166, 200, 200mmx...  not sure what else I missed, but yeah, new stuff was coming out like every other week LMAO...

At least nowadays PC hardware is so far advanced that your rig is relevant for a lot longer than it used to be.

Got my parts and finished the build yesterday, some of the bends are definitely not as clean as I'd like but the case is very tiny and the bend radius required was probably on the tight side. Not to mention it's my first build so I was learning as I went. Pics:

Not bad for a first timer.  I will say though, the positioning of the reservoir above the GPU and all the electronics gets me a bit nervous even though I've been liquid cooling for years.  I would see if you can fit that res/pump combo in another spot.  I think you might be able to snug it just under the back rad, in front of the GPU and right above the PSU, where the back grill is.  I've seen some builds where they're able to sneak in a res/pump combo in that kind of spot so you're not risking your rig too much to a possible leak since most points of fault are above it all.  You could than move the back rad if needed and add it or even a bigger rad up top to make room if needed for that res/pump combo.

Honestly I wish you were right but there is just no room anywhere else as far as I could tell. That spot you're saying doesn't have enough room to fit between the side panel and the GPU.

The reservoir is definitely a risk but so far everything is doing well. I'll just have to keep an eye on things and curse really loudly if anything happens.

Next case will be laid out better, I assure you, as I'll get something with enough space to watercool.

Well done. I spent days getting my bends how I wanted them and they still didn't come out the way I had hoped!

It looks like you are doubling up the thermal padding. This will reduce the efficiency of the thermal pad quickly. Also, it looks like its sitting higher than the the other thermal pads which will cause some dissipation problems as well.

Not doubling up, that section of the GPU (VRMs?) Sits higher than elsewhere. The EKWB is machined this way as well with a deeper pocket on the higher sitting VRMs.

Where it looks like there's overlap, it was trimmed up and fits nicely now so nothing should be overlapping.
