how do these watchers work? Do they need to be manually reported? I heard there were some drops recently for people who signed up for queue in November 2020.

the queue on Eu is working very slow :( i saw that in the US is much better

Yes, they are manually reported, i don't think that what you heard is true, there are a lot of people from october who haven't received their card

At this point, it probably makes most sense to instead try to queue up as early as possible for the heavily rumored 3070ti/3080ti, assuming one of them fits your needs and budget. Who knows what supply will be like, though, so nothing is certain

It would if not for the fact that you have to self isolate upon arrival in Taiwan (hotel prices would mean it would not be so cheap anymore). Alternatively, bring a tent with yourself or just live in a trashcan there for a few weeks...

Who said writing a sentence here and there is spamming... otherwise 90% of Evga forum is a massive spam. Regarding purchases at Evga remember that your purchase might take a while to arrive. I assume you want to join the elite programme for the 3080ti??

That was my question above - are only items purchased from their website eligible?
Because if I buy from somewhere else where it is in stock like Amazon, it is not dependent on this.

There is certainly hope for us Europeans. EVGA seem to line up for the launch of the 3080 Ti and the 3070 Ti. They promised us that the 24 hours head start for Elite-members will work in the EU-shop.
This is the only hope I have to get a RTX GPU, untile something really change on shop like amazon (anti-bot system), for me it's pretty impossible to buy a GPU.

I feel exactly the same. If i don't get a RTX GPU that way i'll just downgrade my monitor and stay on my 1050 for another year or so. And in my opinion Amazon won't ever add an anti-bot system, it's just the sad reality of things, it's not really convenient for them

I'm in PL and have not even seen EVGA here... and 2.5k EUR is ridiculous for a 3080! How do you know that Jay was talking abut EVGA? Could it not be any other vendor? Is EVGA the only retailer with a queue system? Thanks.

I saw that video too.
The numbers on the surface seem depressing, though that 1.5m is probably made up of people who have multiple entries on different sku queues and once they get alerted to their first notification and purchase their card, they may not fulfil their other queue notifications when they pop up. Meaning that (in theory) as time goes on and people get cards, there will be more and more positions being skipped. Well, that is the hope we all have , eh?
As for people who were wondering about "spamming" the forums to get up to 100 messages, wasn't there some message thread "My favourit CD's" or something which was explicitly created for that purpose?

Those cards.. I'd guess about 9/10 aren't from the queue. I have seen a decent amount on sale in my local market, a lot lower than 2.5k... Mostly from alternate, but also some other retailers. 3897 for 1850-1925 3895 for 1800-1900 And those aren't exactly scalper prices, those are just the prices they get them at(from halfway across europe) + an upmark that doesn't really compare to the general price...

ofcourse 2.5K is for idiots HAHA man i can await. 3080 = $650-800. My GTX970 costed me $250 and it still works good. EVGA should contact ppl here and just send ONE card! So simple ... i do see Amazon selling LOADS of EVGA card here in the EU, but the bots got them in 0.88734837 seconds. **** is this?! STOP this selling to Amazon and arrange something normal! Because it all goes to SCALPERS selling it on Ebay for 2k+! it's actually pretty stupid EVGA just can't send ONE card to a folks here and gamers that just need one 30x0 and not to people sickening the market. Some dumb a*s managers should be smart enough to arrange this nonsense.

Ebay? legit shops selling for 2k+ in EU... do you rly think those shops get cards for 900€ and sell them for 2k+ ? i highly doubt it.
It is business, why would EVGA sell their cards for 900€ on their website when they can sell it to shops for 1,5k+ ?
