Hello there! EU here (France), entered the queue for a 3090 FTW3 ULTRA on January 13. Still waiting... nothing else to do, it's literally out of stock everywhere in the EU. My "old" 1080 Ti longs for replacement, and I also need a GPU that's fit for Blender cycles rendering and full blown 4K gaming.

That being said, good luck to everyone.

It's not that it's out of stock.. at least that is the case for many, as is here. It's more that the price is absurdly ****ed. Store price for 3090 is over 3000 euros. Can get decent price from forums and such.

Also, I don't want an used one with an unknown past, or to order from a scalper. I'd rather wait and get it from a reputable source/seller.

Now that the whole Suez Canal incident is over, did you guys see any high counts of GPU's in Europe?
There should be a moment in a week that the backed up shipping to Europe should come in stock right?

The prices are definitely absurdly high in the stores. Apparently they get supplied the cards form EVGA, but I wonder why EVGA does not make more cards available to its own EU-shop..

Graphics cards or the like are far much to valuable to be shipped by sea in a container. All these sort of products are send by airfreight. The Suez Canal blockage should not have had any influence on the availability of cards in Europe. It is much more a matter to whom EVGA will allocate the available cards. For sure not many go to the EVGA EU-shop.

That's *kinda* what I meant, sorry for no clarification. Here there are resellers who order from... mainly German warehouses and are effectively the main supply, and due to their participation in the community are trustworthy sellers, selling brand new for a tad cheaper than store prices atm...

More than likely EVGA really doesn't care about the EU store, focusing on NA which has a more loyal clientele, also EVGA being a NA company.

In this part of Europe.. saw no dent or increase in supply :( This was a month ago so.. I doubt there were any shipments that would make the situation noticably better

As said before, this had nothing to do with availability in EU. Cards are send by air.

As a side note the Ever Given is still anchored up
https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/EVER-GIVEN-IMO-9811000-MMSI-353136000

So if it is carrying any GPU's for the EU market it's not getting there soon lol

Orders from the EVGA EU store are sent via air I don't know if the same is true for general store stock....

The 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming is now € 781,99 ex VAT in the EVGA EU-shop. The 3080 Ti is performing about 10-15% better. My guess is that the price will be 15% higher, so € 899,99 ex VAT. For me VAT is 21%. I am counting on paying € 1089,00!

I think it will be more to the likes of € 999,99 without VAT. Still that would be really good comparing to market prices for 3080 and 3090. I really think that at launch on some shops the 3080TI will be like the 3090 asking price.

Aye yea, if you need a 3090 that is an ok price considering even the 3080 street price. It seems that the 3090 actually had some movement, still 1 in 3 weeks. Unfortunately, that will soon get more expensive after the 31 may price increase.

We'll probably see the X3 prices be close to 1000$ and the FTW3 series work to be around or slightly less than 1100$.

Probably due to contractual obligations to distributors.

Will be a shame when the 3080ti inevitably goes over the magical 1000 EUR price line, but if the performance gains are decent then it'll be worth it to some people. Assuming they can get one, and at a price anywhere near MSRP...

Yeah, if that is the case I'm sure scalpers will be getting their bots ready... 1200 euro with vat (23% for me) is far too attractive to those who are into mining... which also means gamers will lose out as always :(

1200 with VAT is most likely the price I will pay for 3080TI, but I have a different vat rate. While is a bit too expensive, I think considering everything going around is an acceptable price. I mean around the lines of the 2080 TI, even if the 2080TI was super expensive.

Given the state of the market I would not be surprised to see it going for 1300-1400 euro hare at evga (with 23% vat). So a non-vat price of 1100 euros is what im willing to pay.
Anything after that and I will be on ramen noodles until the end of 2021 lol

No love for the EU market from graphics card makers. In NA you have large retailers like BestBut, Wallmart and others. Newegg does not ship to EU and for Amazon.com and Ebay you will have to pay an additional 450 euro's import fee tot the allready high price. The few relatively smaller retailers that we have sell only a few models and ask ridiculous high prices.

Prices won't get better.

What NVIDIA conveniently called LHR is in actuality LER (lower ethereum rate). In other words, their hash limiting gimmick only applies to Ethereum - all the while there are several other profitable coins that can be mined.

This thing about being on the gamer side is a lot of marketing nonsense - especially considering NVIDIA have sold DIRECTLY to miners.

Unless of course, NVIDIA has somehow managed to stop ALL crypto algos - which I doubt very much.

There is certainly hope for us Europeans. EVGA seem to line up for the launch of the 3080 Ti and the 3070 Ti. They promised us that the 24 hours head start for Elite-members will work in the EU-shop.
