It's unfortunate that even some reputable retailers in EU (at least Germany) are getting in on the price gouging rather than making a nice queue system like EVGA...

Sure. Understand, it makes no sense for them to do any queues, shuffles or any other contests.
Imagine that you are a businessman. What is your main task? That's right, make a profit from the product.
You don't care if you sell it to a person from the forum, a miner, a scalper, or an ordinary buyer (because you will always make a profit).
And to get more profit, prices go up.
I even understand Amazon, where all cards are bought only by bots. What difference does it make to such large sellers, who and how to buy their goods?)
That's exactly the same attitude Nvidia has. And even if they say otherwise, that's just marketing. And that Miner's Block, surely will get removed in a couple of days.
Just sell units, it doesn't matter to who.
Maybe because they dont want to make theyr custommers angry and buy stuff somewhere else? Now its ok because of shortage and mining craze they gonna sell everything to anyone, but both will end some day and then sellers will fight for custommers and ppl remembers... well at least some of them 🤔

That's good news about the Elite membership being setup for Europe Stormdan. Thanks for letting me/us know.
While having more people in Elite will go against my own efforts to secure a 3080 Ti :-) I'd encourage anyone who's interested in one, to get yourself setup before the card launches. Hell, I'd rather see someone from the forums get a card than some "random" person.
I think getting on that queue early before it launches publicly could be the best way in getting a card in the short/medium term. Couple of different ways to qualify for it.

Amazon in Europe doesn't seem to want to deal with stocking high-demand items. Amazon.de has basically given up on stocking PS5 as well, from what I've seen. Maybe the margins aren't worth the hassle to them?

I think it is a generic message, if you translate it into English you can see that the main EVGA Twitter account sent the same message on the 13th which EVGA Germany then sent on the 14th. Curiously EVGA UK also sent the same message on the 14th as well. Can't link since I'm a new user I'm not sure how well run those accounts are, whether it's just someone parroting what the main account says or if it's actually accurate information, I'd like to think the latter at least

Yes, someday the situation will change, and they will have to attract customers again. But there will still be people who need a GPU (graphic designers, there will still be miners, landscape designers, bloggers, etc.). But even if these people are not enough to buy a lot of GPUs-manufacturers and stores will come up with different promotions, contests, discounts, etc. Unfortunately, in the current situation, manufacturers absolutely do not care who and how to buy their product, the main thing is to extract as much profit as possible on the hype of mining and the lack of silicon.

3060 queue moved yesterday by 54 minutes for NA and 0 seconds for EU. Sounds fair to me

NA moves over an hour a day, EU still stuck on the first minute, that's just how it is.. People who denied NA priority over EU have literally nothing left to back that, they *should* be equal, EU should prob even be ahead due to shipping from Taiwan, but... yknow.. consider us second class compared to NA.

That's true, the info page isn't the same as US, but he was talking about account details, so perhaps he already has an elite account. The most important detail is that EVGA Germany tweeted this (although linking to the general/US website), so it is more likely to be a confirmation of the EU customers also gaining the benefits. Unless they got it wrong ofcourse, but hey, it's something :) I tweeted them the question, hopefully I can get an official statement.

Does it happen for all cards? Maybe one of the reasons is that iirc NA 3080 queue started earlier than EU, so there were less bots/scalpers at that time.

Hopefully things will go much better with the release of the 3080 Ti beginning of June. EVGA has plenty of time to improve and not shut down the sign-up process after 20 seconds!

Exactly. The only EVGA cards they ship to EU go to retailers who sell them for insane prices. In some ways it's even worse to host a fake queue they clearly have no intention of honoring until it becomes redundant... On that note, I'm hosting a queue for EVGA to receive a billion dollars - you'll be the first and last company in that queue, though the estimated wait is the remainder of the Sun's lifetime. Not that you are being treated as a 2nd class company, let's just hope for a better future, shall we?

Yeah fair enough. I also think the account is managed personally. I saw they also answered a user in English, while the main communication is in German. I've sent them a tweet, hopefully I get a response, but atm it's the best info we got.

lurking for a while so i thought i would let you know i got my notify today for 3090 ftw Ultra order placed and now the waiting for delivery. funny story last card i ordered from evga 1080ti ftw3 got stolen whilst in transit but luckily back then just had to wait a week for a new one.
God help me if this goes missing dont think they would replace it that soon. wish me luck

You/NA folk in general don't. EVGA clearly does. If it was a fair queue it would be at least slightly equal, rather than EU at a standstill(altho we did have a week full of movement of single minutes or so). Just frustrated that EVGA prioritizes NA over EU so much that if I lived in NA I would've had multiple chances to buy a card... At this point I just want one, any of which I'm queued for...

Good Evening, here is the daily status for the EU queues.
The first update of the week is also the last. Yep, it was an almost silent stretch.
The Cursed 3060 continues bellow the first minute, I don't bother to count the seconds anymore, it's painfull to watch.
The 3090 continues it's trend of going silent for a few weeks and adding days to the clock, it mocks the other lines, 2 days more since the last self-report, the next move should put it in November.
There is also a new line, I added it in hopes that someone will report on it, I know you people exist, please let yourselves be known.

Very strange comment. Do you think EVGA would allow somebody to behave like an EVGA official account and would not take any action against it? Why should somebody promote EVGA in such a manner? There is no clue or evidence, that this account should be a fake! In fact, I had contact to the same support person via Twitter and via official EVGA support email. They are also active an hardwareluxx.de. If you are finding it suspicious because it is in german..... well, EVGA EU HQ is in Germany and so they are running the account mainly in German language.

Hello there! EU here (France), entered the queue for a 3090 FTW3 ULTRA on January 13. Still waiting... nothing else to do, it's literally out of stock everywhere in the EU. My "old" 1080 Ti longs for replacement, and I also need a GPU that's fit for Blender cycles rendering and full blown 4K gaming.
