The pandemic should not absolve companies from being responsible with the money their clients trusted them with.
These companies know what their production capacity is and should be able to forecast demand - these are business basics.
Why publish unreasonable ETAs? You're just setting yourself up for failure and on top of that you're not allowing the consumer to make an informed decision.
Sorry - I have no more slack to give. I feel that companies are using C-19 as a crutch for their incompetencies and the consumer are paying for it.

Congrats! Curious to see temps after blocking the card
I can't wait, I'm so tired of the card hitting the mid 80s in Flight Simulator 2020. I stay around 70C in COD Cold War, and high 70s in BF5. Is there anything I should know about applying this block? I think I remember reading that the block clearance with thermal pads wasn't really great on the 3080 FTW3.

Their ETAs aren't that bad either from the official alibaba outlet.

My Byksky water block on my RTX2070 super works great and keeps good temps, How ever my EKWB Quantum CPU block doesn't cool as good as it should on same loop but it is a Ryzen 3.

Alright so my EK block and backplate has lowered my load temperature by at least 30C. My load average while overclocked and pulling a little under 500W hasn't increased past 55C after an hour in Metro Exodus. Previously with lower clocks and less voltage, I would be in the mid 80s.
In 3DMark Time Spy Extreme, my load average dropped 40C! This is partially due to the short duration of the test that doesn't give enough time for the whole loop to warm up, unlike the stock HSF that gets saturated in heat very quickly.
I don't know about you guys but removing the stock thermal pads sucked. I always save my old thermal pads but these came off like soft cheese, almost closer to thermal paste than pads. Also the stock TIM was completely dried up.

It's 7pm Friday night in Slovenia right now, so probably not going out today. I had another order in with EKWB for a leak tester and I paid almost double just for faster shipping. Order was still sitting there 3 days later so I canceled it this morning and ordered one from a US source that will get to me quicker for about the same price. Presumably they are super busy.

They are busy and supposedly new COVID restrictions have hit them hard making it harder for them to get items shipped out.
It took me two weeks to get more information on the blocks and backplates they were supposed to send, and those should be arriving today. I also have two more orders out with them for new tubes and new coolant, and that is looking like it will take quite a while to ship, unfortunately.

FYI. Performance PCS in the US has a few black backplates in stock. This was the piece holding up my order so I went ahead and got it from them and will just have EKWB ship out my order without it.

Bitspower has a block for the FTW3 series of 3080/3090 GPUs
I use their fittings and they're great, and have their Monoblock on my crosshair x570; but have never used one of their GPU blocks so I can't comment on how good they are.
I'm waiting on the EK GPU block myself - only because I ordered it on release day and will probably getting faster than order now from Bitspower or anyone else.
