Kinda salty, my invoice I uploaded a back on 9/2 wasnt good and I had to reupload. I hope the new uploaded invoice checks all the boxes. I ordered from Best Buy and the first time I had a screenshot of a confirmation email that showed date, order number and price (although it may have been after taxes price). But the new one I uploaded is the PDF of the online receipt. Hopefully this is good enough and doesnt delay too much. Did anyone else run into this or if you ordered from Best Buy, what did you use? Thanks

Rbk_3 Man, at the rate this is going I might just buy one if I can get ahold of one and try and sell my stepup when I get it even if I take a little loss
Same. I'm way, way back in the email queue but I still think I might get that before my step up, which I definitely didn't see coming. I knew my step up would take a while, but it feels like they're purposely not tending to them and basically forcing you to just buy a card due to just becoming inpatient with the step up queue.

Yeah but difference is any other company we wouldn’t even have this option. Wish it was faster but since the card launched and up until now, i still have not been able to buy a 3080 but thankfully my step up came thru. $200 bucks more and a 3080 is coming anddd got to use the 2070s for a few months. Luckily i bought an evga card without even knowing about the step up program. This company is fkn amazing. What company lets you trade up and pay difference only for any product these days? All this aside, I do wish they push more cards out for everyone in the step up program since its 11/05 and we are still working on the first 2 hrs of requests from launch date.

I used the Order Details page and printed the PDF. It shows the purchase price, any discounts, final price before taxes, model#, date of purchase, order#. If this is what you created in the PDF, you're good to go.

Same here. My PSU and GPU died in my HTPC, so I had to buy a new GPU quickly and figured I might as well upgrade a little, so I go the 2070super as well. After registering, I found out about the Step-up and couldn't believe my eyes. I thought it was a scam. Who gives the full retail, paid price back after using the card within 90 days and offer to upgrade to the newest card? Absolutely insane. This new problem became an expensive one...lol. It made me join the Step-Up, BUT now the 3080 will become my High end gaming card in a whole NEW build (won't fit my HTPC case...not even close). I ended up buying another B-stock 2060 GPU to fill the void in my HTPC. New gaming PC going elsewhere.

I think its the same thing you are talking about. I went to Order Details then I clicked Print Receipt and saved that as PDF and used that. It has everything I can imagine they would want besides the serial so hopefully we are good. Thank you for the input! Much appreciated.

Well just checked back here and see that the unofficial estimate now for my Step 2 is May 2021. I will definitely have my 3090 FTW3 Notify and my new AMD 5950x well before then. Sad.... This is not the way we should be doing technology rollouts. It will kill DIY building and promote buying prebuilts..

That’s in no way an indication of when you’ll actually get your step 2 and it changes drastically almost any time I look at it.

Anyone know how long it takes for the RMA department to mark the old card as delivered?
I don’t really care when I get the 3080, I just want to make sure my 2070 got delivered to the right place!

Lol first world problems! Gotta love it. I did think this step up bs was a scam also until i saw it on EVGA website and read their faq. Even afterwards i kept thinking this is too good to be true, there has to be a catch but nope, evga is alright with me lol.

My 3080 was shipped the same day my 2070s was received. So I'd say same day or next day depending on when they received it. I believe hybrid cards take additional time, but I don't have first hand experience there.

Those estimates seem to be based on a formula of time passed and number of cards sent. Remember, there is still a shortage right now. As stock normalizes early next year that list will move more rapidly. For example if EVGA released, let's say 15 cards today then that date estimate would change significantly. For example EVGA dropped a few last week and my date went from March to February. Now it's at April. I'd consider these estimates sort of "For Entertainment Purposes Only".

I just found a box with a few inches of room around each side of the GPU box and packed the empty space with bubble wrap. On the outside I used packing tape to secure the label they email you and that was it.

Also got Step 5 a few hours ago. I wonder if the 2 inches is necessary if you're shipping it in the original retail box considering they don't provide any wrapping material or 2 inches of space in the boxes they seem to ship the 3080s out in lol. I'll get a bigger box and bubble wrap to be safe but has anyone used USPS despite EVGA suggesting UPS/FedEx? I almost always use them for shipping packages and was wondering if anyone had experience using them to ship their card back. EDIT: Reached out to customer service and they told me they are just recommendations but not necessary so I just 2-dayed mine from USPS with $800 insurance. Cost was about $80 and I'm about as far from CA as you can get in the US.

Do you need to attach the RMA number anywhere on the box or just the label? Also did they provide the label? I thought we had to provide our own shipping to EVGA? Thanks in advance!

You should write the RMA # on the outside of the box as instructed. You'll probably get away with not doing that, but it's part of the instructions so I did and am sure many others as well. There is a label in the e-mail you get notifying you how to ship your product. I didn't know it was there and neither many others. The attachment was at the bottom of my Step 5 e-mail on mobile as a PDF file. It's just an address label with a barcode; you still have to pay to ship it out.
