Jacob replied to me on Twitter yesterday when I asked if there were any 3080 step ups going out,

“This week but don't have date just yet.”

Yeah, Jacob last week said we had a big shipment coming this week. No clue if thats changed or not, but he mentioned that it was bigger than last week's shipment.

My card was delivered at 10:35am today.  Hopefully the turnaround is pretty quick.

Our cards must've been on the same truck! Mine was also delivered at 10:35. Really hoping they manage to send our 3080s out today.

Ha.  Me too.  If it ships out before Friday, I should receive it sometime next week.

I shipped my card out yesterday and it was delivered @9:44 AM this morning. Not too shabby for Fedex Ground. LOL.  That said, I really wouldn't expect to get a confirmation from EVGA RMA Dept that my step up was shipped until at least next week sometime.  That said, I'm itching to get my hands on my new 3080.  Right now, I'm getting by using a 6-year old laptop (which is absolutely terrible for any type of gaming beyond Direct X9 titles).  

Seriously, still no step ups this week? This sucks. At least I have a PlayStation 5 to look forward to next week.

My card arrived at EVGA this past Monday at 11 o'clock PST and they shipped it out the same day. There is hope for them shipping it out fast!

My 2070 Super was delivered to EVGA this morning and I just received a notification from UPS to expect my new 3080 tomorrow.  Pretty awesome if indeed true!

I knew step ups wouldn't be a priority but it seems like they're the last thing on EVGA's mind.
I feel like at this rate I'll probably end up getting one from the email queue first, which sucks.
Seemed like buying a card specifically to do the step up was going to be the faster route but im second guessing that now.
There can't possibly be that many step ups. Surely they could be filling way more at a time than they are.
Email queue getting multiple drops a week, meanwhile step up queue getting one tiny drop a week.

I ended up receiving the email queue notification first before even having any signs of step up step 2 email @@~ this ain’t their priority guys

I got mine today from the email queue. I'm using my step up to get my little brother a 3080. I think we were probably on the right track with buying a card for step up when there was no shopper protection from bots, but now that there's a queue, a lot more actual users have the opportunity to buy.

Looking at the past step-ups, eVga seems to follow a pattern of every other week that they upgrade several or more people. If I recalled, Jacob mentioned this week they were getting cards, and next week would be even more. So, we might seen a larger amount then. We have to remember, eVga needs to supply etailers, the other notification ques, etc. not just us.
 
You are probably right, that we are on the back burner. If I owned this business, I would do the same. eVga makes no money with these upgrades to us, they are probably losing a little.

Yeah, I would guess that they fulfill the orders where they get paid more than anything first. But for the past 2 or 3 weeks, we have gotten weekly step 2s, so I hope they don't change that now.

Yup, step 2 email just came in at 12:24!! Step 1 was 10:21 am est!

nice! glad to see more movement! gonna be a while till it reaches 9/24 for me but hopefully it speeds up.
