my step 1 email was sent to me at 3:13pm on 9/17 and I have had nothing but radio silence, my invoice was already pre-uploaded and everything was in order BEFORE 3:13pm. So I don't know if its just a problem for me or if its really not through the first day of people still yet

First day? They’ve just gotten through the first hour.
this made me giggle a little bit... there was without a doubt thousands of signups ... easily hundreds in the first few hours. just keeping tabs on the spreadsheet would have shown approximately where we are at currently . the lines moving and will continue to move with a little more pep.

I'd be hopeful. I think when the supply issue or w/e is going on is sorted, the queue should move much quicker. That and the majority signed up for step up within the first couple hours, so I'd expect to see some larger time slots covered after the initial wave gets pushed through.

i joined the 25th, If things keeping going on the current rate then yes I expect early to mid January. They should clear out day one orders the week of Thanksgiving. Of course fingers crossed for an earlier time frame.

I feel like by the time I get my step 2 I'll be able to just buy one at any time from Best Buy, New Egg, etc... lol
I went into this knowing that I would probably be able to buy one before the stepup went through. The point of this was so that I could have a card right away, because I had sold mine to get as much value as possible. Only costing me about $250 CAD to upgrade from a 2080S to a 3080S basically and I get to use a 2070s in the interim. Not a bad deal at all

The 3070 launch may have thrown a monkey wrench into the scheduling we've been seeing. Different die, same Samsung process means unequal deliveries between the 3070 and the 3080/90's. We'll see if it'll stabilize into a new pattern or back to a Mon/Tues notification.

Thanks, thats about where I thought it would be. Im sure once we get further in, time will move much faster. A lot of the queue must be the first few hours of launch day, it'll thin out.

EVGA has had my card for 7 days now, since last Tuesday so just asking for some feedback here as I feel like I am not getting accurate information. I have reached out a couple times to EVGA and have received the following information.
1. I submitted a Hybrid card and those take longer. Has anyone submitted a hybrid card for a step up and had it take 7 days?
2. I was told today that no cards shipped on Friday or Monday due to inventory going on at the warehouse but the posts here seem to indicate that there was movement for some of you.
I don't know that I have a person I can reach out to let me know what is really going on. Does someone have any advice on what I should do. I have reached out to no avail and keep being told it should ship any day now.
