I entered the step up from a 2070s to a 3080 ftw3 on 9/25. Last thing I did was upload my receipt and it just says in queue. Am I supposed to be doing anything else or just waiting?

nope. Just use your 2070s in the meantime and refresh this page every day or so. The wait sucks but atleast you have a gpu to hold you over

Yea just keep an eye out for the email. It will be titled: EVGA Step-Up RMA Request Step 2 of 5 Notification. Be sure to check junk/spam folders too.
Until then, you can keep an eye out on the google docs list on the OP just to see where you are and how the list is moving. Keep in mind, that list is only a fraction of people that are actually in the step up program. So it might seem like its moving slow but in reality its getting more and more cards to people each week.

Nice! I am patiently waiting for my payment to verify and to receive my RMA number so I can send my 2080 Super out. I got one Dell S2721DGF and looking to get a second one. Love playing at 1440p 165hz. Such a perfect middle ground. Definitely nice improvement over my 1080p 144hz TN panels too.

Hope you get your card sooner than later so you get to enjoy it!

Dang, had my Step 1 Step-Up email be sent to me on 12:26PM on 9/17 --- Is it not realistic to expect the card before EOY???

Who knows. With how low the step up priority seems to be, I would think EOY before they get through the whole first day for sure. I'm in October, so I have no hope for anything before like February/March at this rate. Insane...

Man, I went to ship out my card this morning with USPS with just normal priority shipping and insurance. Was supposed to cost around $40 cause I'm broke and don't mind waiting for the card. Went to ship it out and they tried to get me to pay double. So guess I'm going UPS instead, probably better handling of shipping anyway

How long does normal shipping take and how much is it gonna run me? In regards to sending my own card back?

After the $80 quote I got from USPS, I went to FedEx and got it shipped for about $65. Still more expensive than what they quoted me online but better than USPS. Should be at EVGA by Friday.

Pretty sure the step up queue is literally just moving slower and slower, instead of faster...

Remember, the people on this forum only account for a small number of people in the queue. In reality, there could have been hundreds of fulfillments last week but only 6 or 7 people posted to the forum post.

I dunno. Before I registered for the Step-Up, I looked up info on reddit. Based off of that, I full expected to be waiting 4-6 months on a step up card. I'm not complaining, though. My 2070s is holding up just fine as a place holder. Meanwhile, I'm anxiously waiting for Black Friday deals on a nice ultrawide 1440p 144hz monitor :D

Got the step 5 late Friday night and did 2-day shipping via USPS the next morning. Glad I didn't 1-day it because it ended up making it at the same time as the 1-day estimate for half the price. EVGA got it Monday morning and shipped my card out Monday night. I should be getting it before the weekend. Good luck to the rest of you!

Got an email from EVGA about a 3080 XC3 ULTRA that I asked to be auto notified when it was available, so I was given an eight-hour window to purchase and I decided to go with it. I would have been fine with using the XC3 for the trade-up but that's not available, so I will stay in the queue and trade up my 2080 when the 3080 FTW3 ULTRA becomes available.

Just remember there are people like me in the 3080 FTW queue that can't fit the card in their case and will need an XC3.

You guys are screwing up real bad paying that much. Dont EVER go to any little "shipping store" or a UPS Store, or anything owned by a third party or franchisee. BTW, all "UPS stores" are franchises and fleece you on the shipping rate and take their own cut. These people are middle men leeches.
You always should do your own shipping and print your own labels.
I can send a GPU fully insured from NC to Cali for under $30 via UPS ground. Its crazy when I hear about people paying as much you as do. With the default $100 insurance, could probably get it under $20 with my eBay store discount + Promo/coupon code.

I work for a company that ships hundreds of packages a month with UPS. I can ship my GPU back to EVGA via overnight for about $40 from Louisiana. lol

I have seen replies that EVGA shipped same day or next day. In my past experience it is usually quick turnaround once your old card is received. You're almost home free.
