How long does normal shipping take and how much is it gonna run me? In regards to sending my own card back?
After the $80 quote I got from USPS, I went to FedEx and got it shipped for about $65. Still more expensive than what they quoted me online but better than USPS. Should be at EVGA by Friday.
You guys are screwing up real bad paying that much. Dont EVER go to any little "shipping store" or a UPS Store, or anything owned by a third party or franchisee. BTW, all "UPS stores" are franchises and fleece you on the shipping rate and take their own cut. These people are middle men leeches.
You always should do your own shipping and print your own labels.
I can send a GPU fully insured from NC to Cali for under $30 via UPS ground. Its crazy when I hear about people paying as much you as do. With the default $100 insurance, could probably get it under $20 with my eBay store discount + Promo/coupon code.
We printed our own label and everything. We just needed them to ship it. No where around where I live was under what FedEx had us pay so we didn't have much choice. But yeah, I get it. It was way high and annoying but I didnt mind.

No step 2's this week. Likely won't be any as per one of Jacob's twitter posts....
The most recent tweet from Jacob about 3080 FTW3 Ultra step ups for this week (that I can find) is from 11:41 am yesterday where he said: "Notifies just went out, not sure stepup yet. May have some later in week." So while I agree it's not looking good that it's Thursday and we've seen no movement, but there's still a slight chance for some this week. Let me know if anyone sees a more definitive tweet from him.

I think people need to be more vocal on Twitter about constantly asking about step up status. The squeaky wheel gets the 3080....I think that’s why we are seeing more go to the notification queue vs step up

Well ... if Nvdia launches a 3080ti in Jan, wouldn't us still in the queue be able to grab one of those instead ? Might be a blessing in disguise to have to wait...

you would have to leave queue and start in the Ti queue from the beginning.. keep in mind most will not be able to do this because their 90day window will have expired.and if they leave the queue they cant get into step up again

Glad to see some kind of movement. The email queue had the biggest drop ever for 3080 FTW3's today. Moved like 2 hours. Which is still pathetic, but huge compared to previous weeks...

Does EVGA receive cards over the weekends for a Monday/Tuesday turnaround on the step up card? Would overnighting my card be a waste of money for a Sat/Sun receive date be a waste of money if i get to step 3 tomorrow?

best advice I can give you is to almost forget about it. Don’t check the list of the forums as often and just focus on other things. It will come faster. Goes with the old saying, a watched pot never boils. Trust me. That’s what I did because checking the site and forums and lists every day for two months doesn’t help you at all.

If I remember your username, we both bought it at Best Buy. If not, then well...I bought mine at Best Buy. lol. It was the 2070 Super XC Ultra. It very well could have had a part in taking a little longer for validation and testing.

Don't be too jealous. Mine is still unopened sitting in a corner as I can't use it until I somehow manage to buy a Ryzen 5900x. I'd dump it into one of my 2 PC's, but the processor is so old in both, it would bottleneck every game I had. Not even sure the PSU would be sufficient in either.
