The Coupon Code (P7JUX093GU7RID0) you have entered is not valid, has expired, was used, or does not meet the criteria required for the coupon to be applied.

You have any idea?? was trying a keyboard.

tons of ways? I just know 3 ways:
For Memberships acquired via registered EVGA products
For Memberships acquired via 100 posts on the EVGA Forums
For Memberships acquired via 5,000 E-Points by watching Livestreams

Do you have any info about how to get the elite status instead these 3 ways? They are the only one in evga website

Maybe saying "tons of ways" to get Elite status is a gross exaggeration, but thats still plenty enough ways to get Elite status in a relatively decent amount of time.

I've got less than 10 posts as of today to get to 100 posts in this forum - and i started just a few weeks ago casually perusing the forum and making a few posts once in a while. And I have about 3900 channel points on Twitch just pulling it up in a tab, mute the tab and set resolution to 160p. Did this for a few days and I've missed quite a few streams too.

Had i been more dedicated, I'd likely already have an Elite status on my account weeks ago.

As long as they can limit purchases to humans and 1 per person, that's fair. After checking my 3080 FTW3 queue status on the spreadsheets, I think I'll have better chances waiting for a 3080Ti at this point.

While it doesn't matter that much to me, I do wish that evga hadn't shut down their folding perks.  A proven folder contributing to evga's program would show if they are dedicated and frankly, need an upgrade lol.  Give us some shots at new hardware as well.  At least we were using it for something scientific.

Glad they're making some effort to shut down bots and such. Still kinda hard to get 100 posts without spamming, but I guess I can put in some effort. Haha

Apparently they mentioned other methods they are taking to combat bots and scalpers on their latest stream? someone mentioned that can anyone confirm if it was the latest stream or the one before that?

Getting a 3080 has been hard and 3070s on ebay have been going for $1300. You would have to sign up for a 3080 TI at minute 0 to have a reasonable chance.

And yet we still see the Elite Membership only 3090 Kingpin Hybrid and HC being auctioned at Ebay.

It would be impossible to say you have to buy a product to keep so they best EVGA could do is make a membership level to reduce it and limit it to one per person.

Yeah I agree.  Based on the spreadsheet's 'Date last  drop' column, I think some cards have are no longer being produced.

Nice response. Will see how it pans out in reality, but good to know in theory they're on our side.

Am I elite status yet?

The spreadsheets look pretty dismal, but so does the entire GPU market right now. I'm hoping beyond hope I can get in this elite queue early enough and be a lucky duck. Otherwise... the wait continues.

I am glad EVGA is taking serious measures to combat scalpers and bots. Pretty much the reason I'm trying this at all, and definitely something to be appreciative of for a GPU seller in these trying times.

The botting is out of hand.  I was watching drops this afternoon, everything on amazon and newegg is gone in seconds.  Good news is that it's totally possible to get a 5600X on amazon if you're willing to put in a bit of effort. Looks like about 60 sales per day of 3080's on ebay USA over the last 10 days.  I wonder how many of these botted cards are going to scalpers vs. serious amateur miners snapping them up.  The 3080 is a beast for ether.  The straight ROI on cards at ebay prices is about 250 days of mining at current payout rates.

Wow. Didn't know mining could be that lucrative on the individual card scale. Guess it makes sense, though I don't mine, but I do dabble in crypto.

Where do you find information about drops? Are there rumors, schedules? I only know of Newegg shuffle and I've seen an old schedule of Best Buy drops but... how can I tell what's legit these days?

"everything on amazon and NewEgg is gone in seconds. "

This is the most frustrating thing about trying to buy a 3080. I got a 3070 from Newegg when you could buy an MSI Suprim X for less than $1000, and TRYING to get a 3080 since I finally have the cash. They go up on Amazon all the time, and are gone immediately, even when I'm camping webpages for 10 hours at a time, can't beat the bots.

Simple solution: disqualify elite members with evga account created during the shortage. I bet most of them are just scalpers.

I'm not sure that would really solve the problem. Its possible that they would snip off a good chunk of legitimate buyers who are not attempting to scalp.

What do you think about the step up programm. Will it be possible on day one to buy an rtx 3080ti over the step up program? I have a 3070 here with 50days step up left. I'm also an elite member.

Please help Baby Yoda for his next GPU!!!

I know they won't, but would be nice if they extended the step up for anyone that bought a 3080 since release date. I got my 3080 in November so I'm 2 months(?) out of step up time-frame. Evga would easily be able to unload used 3080s at close to MSRP price which would be pure profit to them since they already got my money for the 3080 then would get difference for a Ti then would get more money again for a used 3080. That used 3080 purchase is profit for them. Its a win-win for them.

They could even offer those in the 3080 queue a used but certified 3080 if that meant getting one sooner and at a slightly cheaper price.

I'd buy a used 3080 or 3090 even if that means that EVGA makes the money twice on them. I would be happy to give them my money at this point

Can't say for everyone and I understand where you're coming from, I'm sure there may be many scalpers, but personally, I've been using EVGA products for years that I bought from retailers and not from official website, so I did not have an account here. Recently I decided to finally upgrade from my gtx970 because I am planning to buy Valve Index and 970 is just not enough for VR, so I just found out about shortage and all that stuff (I'm still a bit in denial and can't believe it's real to this extent). When I heard about evga queue it was a bit of a relief for me, so I created an account and registered one of my evga products (PSU), because this seems to be my only chance to upgrade or either I will have to wait for a very long time...

Ha. Imagine having issues getting Ryzen CPUs, in EU they are mostly in stock and often at or below MSRP, but GPU prices and the EVGA queue are even worse here lmao.

I hope that the release of the 3080Ti will take down a bit of pressure from the 3090... The difference in gaming performance won't be much if there is any at all and it should be a few hundred bugs cheaper...

Scalping is not EVGA's problem to solve and once you've bought a card it is up to you what you do with it, Scalping can be solved by people not buying at these daft high prices, then if they couldn't turn them for a hefty profit they wouldn't.

The end users not having patience and paying over price to, well anyone as even genuine stores are overcharging, is what feeds the scalpers.

I've been on the 3987 queue for 5 months now, I'll wait as I refuse to pay over odds for a card, but as I'm on the EU queue I'm a bit disgruntled at it's perceived speed and that EVGA cards are hitting UK stores.

But I absolutly will not pay the excessive prices being asked, I'll wait.

I keep reading so many posts from people giving out about the queue system and scalpers. Only for them to then say they are in 6 or more different queues for top skus. Shirley(surely) they are part of the problem with long queues. Some may pass on the cards they don't really want, and yet queued for, but I bet a lot buy the cards they don't want and then sell them privately while waiting on the card they actually do want. Therefore taking cards away from people who have queued for the ONE card they actually want/need

Theoretically it shouldn't matter how many SKUs you're in line for as long as you're limited to only one item per account. You can simply pass on the item you don't want when you get the notification, so nothin is lost. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong
