Had same thing happen to mine without 1000w bios. No luck on replacement from evga or help from them really. A schematic or whatever smd mine was would have been nice. Learning how to solder 😂

Robotic  surface mounted mother board were never meant to be repaired, but to replace. I have the right tools, don't have good eyes and steady hands. Ill run some test and isolate the problem. Should be something simple that I damaged on tare down.  No hot spots on board . Then if you can get the right smd ,Ill give it a go .

you said it doesnt show any lights at all?
did you try different power cables, PCIE slot on mobo?
You could also try putting AIO back on and see if it works then

No light at all < try different Pcie slots, psu, power cables and riser cable. I did not put AIO back on because I did not think it would help, unless it put pressure on something that came lose. I put power to Gpu naked also with no luck. I need to get multi - meter out and do continuity checks. Hope its not a broken trace,  when you tare card down that double sided foam tape pad takes a lot of force to break free. I thought I had miss a screw it took so much force .

Yeah that double sided tape near the OLED corner of the backplate is a serious P-I-T-A.  I took mine off of the card completely.  I think I'm going to end up using thermal tape to fix that & the other pressure issue I've noticed with my backplate, which is the HydroCopper block making one of the backplate screws not be used so part of the left side is loose too.

Hey Badg, you should probably update your sig for ram change, also I think I have a solution to my pump tach reading dying, I am planning twin loops once I am finished, so I think I will just run both pumps off one fan header with a splitter, so that my second pump will feed mobo rpm signal, while mobo will send PWM to both pumps
seriously peeved that I somehow screwed up a 130 dollar pump lol, this one I picked cause of the sleeved cables coming out of the pump (primochill branded)

Some pumps allow you to direct connect it to the psu making the pump run at max speed. If you have this option I would look at that but it depends on the pump.  You will lose the ability to control the flow of the pump, but it will work and not impact your mobo in any way.  You could always get a in-line flow meter to gauge the flow rate of that loop if needed.

I would recommend checking your mobo specs as I thought that the pumps draw more power (especially D5s) than fans so that is why some mobos have dedicated pump headers or high amp pump headers.  It will also depend on what pumps you are using like dual D5s or DDC pumps, etc.  Splitting those headers might not be within the mobo specs as far as amp draw so this might be of concern depending on your mobo.  I think gigabyte has some flexibility built into some of their motherboards to allow you to use either pumps or fans on certain headers but they are still limited by amp rating individually.  Most other brands have dedicated fan ports and/or dedicated pump ports depending on the features of the boards.

I know some people use the fan ports when they plug in AIOs, but those draw less power from my understanding which is why they can get away with it.  Putting two high draw components together in one port would concern me enough to research the specs of your board first.

I have a d5 pump, which I think I mentioned before, and those always have dedicated Sata/Molex power plug and a 4 pin fan plug with only the PWM and tach wires used(12v+ and ground are left open/blank)

Eh, I'm not gonna bother updating it until I get the new kit in, then it'll be 4x8GB 4000MHz CL15 @ whatever I can get it to run at... probably 3800MHz CL14.

I am so glad my pump doesn't have one of those dials like my loop way back in the day did that you have to change with a flat-tip screw driver, much prefer this EK pump's method of control by PWM signal.

Hey all, so i just got my HC kit in, and installed into my loop yesterday .. got a random question.  In PX1, everything is reading correctly, and can adjust and reflecting in sensor panel, however, the OLED on the KPE is showing 1920MHz only, and I cannot change it in PX1, nor can I shut it off.  Anyone have any ideas or had similar problems?

So the OLED is frozen in effect?  Try reinstalling Precision, and if you took the OLED screen off during the HydroCopper block install, try taking the OLED off completely, unplugging it & plugging it back in (with the computer off of course).  It's possible one of the connections on the plug has a bad seat and that might fix it.

The block has 1/4 inch female threads that work with any male fitting. The barb size on the fitting is what you need to match with the inner diameter of your tubing.

Main: 10700k @ 5.4ghz, 3090 K|NGP|N Hydrocopper, 4x8 @4300 16-16-16-36, EVGA 1200 P2, MSI Z490 Unify, 5 radiators, 2 pumps. Heavily modified Evolv ATX

2.25mm for memory, 2.75mm for mosfets, 2.5mm for backplate.

Just got my Kingpin Hydrocopper and I've got to say I wasn't expecting it to weight quite as much as it does!  Is it recommended to use some type of vertical support "beam" ?  Question 2...should I change the thermal pads or are they "better" than the regular 3090 FTW3 pads in either quality or placement?

Thanks in advance!

Most useless community support... Someone asking this is to be able to still use it while ordering, when others already have the answer.

It is fine to ask, if you don't want to answer just don't be sour.

https://forums.evga.com/3090-Kingpin-amp-others-Get-that-backside-VRAM-cool-m3219773-p38.aspx
go to this thread and look through the latest 5 pages or so, or if you feel like it go to the beginning and see what Dabadger posted about replacing thermal pads, think the main pads were 2mm and the rest were not as important to replace, unless they come apart with the card lol
tech posted exact measurements recently in that thread so take that and round the thickness down to nearest .5mm or .00mm
Edit- the HC does NOT need a brace; the block itself is extremely sturdy, despite its weight it has absolutely no give once mounted
I can grab the card by the end and wiggle it and my whole PC moves while the card doesn't budge, and my pc weighs a ton now lol
