Not sure is this is for the Titan XP or just Titan X

The GTX Titan X is the Maxwell chip.  The Pascal chip is simply called Titan X.

"Yes I worked on this last night and have an update, good news and bad news... Good is it will also fit 1080 Ti. Bad is we need to wait another couple weeks. I really apologize for the long delay on these. Definitely was not expected delay."

So the couple of weeks are up, and no release and no update. Time to add a new line to the fail list, lol;

•  July 25th 2016 : We are working on a Hybrid upgrade kit, stay tuned :) fail.
•  early November 2016 : expected before the end of the year (2016) - hopefully. fail.
•  December 15th 2016 : almost here, 46C full load. fail.
•  January 16th 2017 : on the way, maybe a few weeks out. fail.
•  January 18th 2017 : mid to late February, trying to pull in sooner if possible. fail.
•  February 11th 2017 : should be arriving in next few days, will follow up. fail.
•  mid February 2017 : last week of Feb is the current date I have for arrival. fail.
•  February 26th 2017 : very close. fail.
•  March 4th 2017 : still working on this, will update in next 2 days. fail.
•  March 7th 2017 : we need to wait another couple weeks. fail.

EVGA has the hybrid kit ready for months already. They knew the 1080 ti was going to be on the same pcb as the titan X. The goal is not to release a hybrid kit for the Titan X. It is to release a kit for the 1080 ti that will fit the Titan X. They are waiting for Nvidia probably because company like evga msi cant release yet their custom design of the 1080 ti. Founder Edition exclusivity. Hybrid kit is a custom design so not yet.
 
Now to EVGA_Jacob with how he handles this story from the begining is unprofessional to say the least. He lied from the begining about the hybrid kit he knew was not coming out and kept saying: coming soon guys! Stay Tuned guys! 46 Degres under full load guys. Next week guys..........     We are talking about evga product manager?? He was suppose to have (learn) from the 1080 hybrid not coming out on time story... Nothing learned their we can see. 
 
I am not the person who decide who work and for what departement at evga because if I was, Jacob would not be the product manager.

Well thanks EVGA, that's just awesome...  notice all the 1080Ti people from Reddit>NVidia now waiting to jump on the kit as soon as it comes in stock, yeah, &#^$*& awesome. Long-term EVGA members who purchased a Titan XP and have been strung along for 8 &#^$*& months now for this &#^$*& kit getting kicked full force right in the nuts once again.
 
Oliver yes, I also suspect the kit was held back also so the preassembled 1080Ti Hybrid card can be released so existing 1080Ti owners don't just upgrade their existing card(s) with the kit. I don't think Titan XP owners were ever even taken into consideration by EVGA, and why should they? The being strung along for 8 &#^$*& months was just straight-out rude though, I'd much prefer honesty...
 
So I just ordered an ASUS Maximus IX Hero over the EVGA Z270 Classified (I was on the fence between those two and the ROG Code for some time now, but this finally pushed me to make a decision for the Hero), I have the EVGA CLC 280 in my cart right now, but am seriously looking at the Corsair H115i ..it's also a close decision. Been a long time since I've run on an ASUS motherboard, but the Hero appears to be a very nice offering. Downside is I'll probably have to go Windows 10 pro on my desktop, but I've had a few months tinkering with it on my laptop now, so although I still much prefer W7, I'll probably swallow my disgust and live with W10 since I'm going to have to go that way eventually anyway.
 
Most disappointed with the shenanigans with this EVGA AIO cooler.  I really thought EVGA would come out and be the good guys for the Titan XP owners, particularly for EVGA members, but sadly no - bend over and assume the position guys.

As i tweeted, i will sandblast it and apply a nice stylish black powder coating. Maybe some nice combination existing out of black and another color. Only i don't know if i should apply a shiny or matte black paint..

That's the standard shroud. They won't make a special one for the Titan XP owners. I just hope the backplate doesn't say 1080Ti...
 
I do like your idea for the custom powder coat though......hmmm.........might have to do that as well..

Wouldn't surprise me. Imagine these will be eaten up within minutes of becoming available, and mostly will appear out of stock for months to come.

No release yet, even the pictures are a placeholder for now. Release sometime next week.

How do you know it will be out next week?

Considering the 1070/1080, I can almost guarantee it will. Wether they are rgb or not is the only question. I personally don't care, i just want high clocks and low temps.
