Just got my 1080 ti today.  Let's see if it lives up to the HYPE!

My question is if the FTW3 can handle gaming in 5K like the Strix supposedly​ claims to be able to achieve such capability

Dear EVGA, sell a reversed version of the half section of backplate where the LED is so I can swap it out and it's not upside down.

We are working on an option for this via build to order. Stay tuned. :)

Is the reversed backplate LED version going to be a product that we can change out on our existing FTW3 cards ..... or is it going to require buying a brand new card ???
 
 

I would hope it's just the backplate piece. It's a matter of a few screws and a single LED cable per the GamersNexus teardown. Should be a 5 minute swap.

I just remembered this means I lost the game codes I should have gotten as well. Just keeps getting better.

You can always log into your account, update your profile, and BAM, bob's your uncle.  Your info is up-to-date, and you're calling from the number on your account.

At first glance in person, this card is massive and has some literal heft to it in weight. She sits inside an IN WIN 509 ROG case.  I had to use the GPU support bracket to make sure the card didn't sag.  Overall, I am impressed.  I had to wait until evening to take pictures because the glass on my case is tinted quite dark.  I personally prefer the white logo over any other color, but I'll experiment with it to see what color suits the mood I'm in.
 
P. S.  I nearly threw this card in the garbage today while cleaning because of the non-descript delivery box sitting near the front door on the floor.  I'm glad I decided to read the mailing label!
 
 

So, got my SC 2 Hybrid yesterday and put it to work =)
 
Seems the radiator had an eventful journey, box was without any big damage but the radiator wasn't really attached to anything in the box.
 

 
Seems my case (NZXT S340 Elite) is a bit of a dud, had to apply way too much force to secure the card.
 

 
Works fine so far haven't had much time to play with it yet, but tested some maxed out Witcher 3 (1440p) and was hovering around 60C after an hour. Radiator fan was blowing warm air ^^ Definitely going to change to another fan.

That would have been a costly $700+ tragedy.  Glad you did look at the label but I'm sure the weight of the package might have at least sparked your curiosity. 

The good ol' "shake", or in this case the act of lifting the box made a small noise to prompt me to inspect the box. I saw the mailing label and of course that everything was sealed.  Beautiful product.  I should've bought 2 at the pre-order, but I couldn't find any HB SLI bridges for sale so I decided against it.  It's okay.  I'll purchase another GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 later this year.

So my 1080Ti FTW3 arrived today and upon further inspection I noticed the warranty label sticker has score marks across the face of the label. Is this normal?

Yes... As far as I know they do that for tampering..it weakens the sticker so if you try to remove it, the sticker falls apart.

So is the warranty void if I wanted to install a water block later on?
