So basically you are only able to get the Elite Version by preordering the normal FTW3/SC2 and step it up? So Elite members like me, that couldn't preorder are not able to get a Elite Version at all?
That is precisely how I was able to get the elite card. I had to step-up my preorder from March which added 3-4 week's delivery time to my order. Just to get it in black. Kind of regret it.

This card is a beast. I was able to run a few runs of Firestrike. The link had a comparason to stock Vs sliding the power and temp limits. I turned off my FPS cap in RTSS and booted up BF1 with the same setting I had dialed down with my 980Ti, it went to 200 FPS. I then turned up the dial to Ultra and the FPS was in the 140 range, I then reset my FPS cap to 139 and turned Gsync back on, unbelievably smooth play! Now to try Precision XOC and game for an hour or 2. It says the GPU isn't recognized as a validation warning. http://www.3dmark.com/com.../12505793/fs/12505943# I gotta get a power link I think.

This card is a beast....
Great looking build! I used to have a white LED strip, but it was too much after switching to LED-lit fans. I recommend the Powerlink accessory, so you can move the power connections to the side to keep it from blocking the backlit logo. I just got mine installed last night, and I'm loving it!
