I have some tricks for you. Personally I'm using the case Thermaltake Core P3 which I've wall mounted and in which I've added extra LED stripes on the backside. On top of that imagine a big RGB CPU fan, two EVGA FTW cards, RGB RAM, RGB motherboard details... all controlled through software.

Now I just turn the RGB off when I want to sleep but let the PC mining and the LED logo of EVGA which is not disable-able on the 1080ti... well... I've just used a (1) black tape and it looks like it never existed! I've also plugged the case's HDD and POWER lights with (2) EVGA's logo and I get an almost totally black PC... only a small red light from the motherboard is on but it's very tiny.

Noticed my 2 tricks?

As I said in my FIRST POST...turning it off won't work. I don't want it.

Covering it with tape is also not going to work.

I ...do...not...want...it..

Why is me wanting non-RGB such a problem for people?

btw, I did see they're going to offer it without, I believe..so there is that..

At this point, it's more along the lines of why people can't just accept that some people don't want it at all,
and that 'turning it off' or 'covering it' is a REALLY poor choice on things like that. Choices aren't a bad thing,
ya know.

I agree that choices are not a bad thing. Which is why every GPU should have RGBs so people can CHOOSE to enable them or not. It's not like a few leds increase the production cost, so unless you explain me the reason you don't want RGBs I don't get why you dislike them when they can be disabled.

On the other hand creating RGB and nonRGB products create more problems than some people can imagine like productions lines, stock management and how most people will want the RGB one and then some would be forced to pick a nonRGB because that's all available.

I guess the RGB Forces just want to Shove RGB Down everyone's throat if Fear of not have any RGB at all for themselves.

Maybe a MOD can Create a Survey here on the Forum like the below, I do not see that "most people will want the RGB one"

Prefer Cards with RGB at a Higher Cost: (Check Box)
Prefer Cards without RGB at Lower Cost: (Check Box)

My take is that the "Cards without RGB at Lower Cost" would win.

So, your choice is lack of choice...got it.

I don't want to pay for something I think is stupid. Regardless of it being (even it's the same cost) slightly more expensive, it sends the message that people want it
if that's what you buy...nope, don't want it. I want it to die.

I do not want to support it. AT ALL.

Locking per OP request, this thread has run its course

The Topic was about the availability of Non-RGB cards -- Not the merit of RGB
