I do!!! How much? I skimmed through this thread looking at the pics and they look awesome!! Is there a procedure for mounting the fittings? I've only used koolance, EK, and danger den stuff in the past so is there anything different with a custom one........besides higher quality? Also, if anyone is overclocking e5620's I could use a template with one of the newer bios's. I created a thread with please please please in the title if anyone would care to help. Yeah I know the title's kinda lame. I knew it would be different overclocking dual chips, but I didn't think it would be this different from a 920.

do you still have someone sending you an SR-X? if not, ill send you mine if you pay for shipping, im broke (quit my terrible call center job) and cant even afford the processors so its just going to be a very expensive showpiece for a while unless you use it for the block making.

along with the CPU blocks (so you can gauge clearances etc) this should be on its way to you soon. check out the build in my sig for more pictures.

It really doesn't look all too different from my SR2 block. I already think I can get the left Vreg block to attach to the main block, but it will cost a fortune to make it full copper. It would have to be a plastic topped block to make it affordable. But either way it will take some brainstorming on my part and some calipers. Is this board on its way to my house yet?! :)

One question regarding the SR-X, is necessary to dismount all the big chipset heatsink in order to remove the bios battery? (also removing all the graphics cards....)

not on its way yet, sorry about the delay. if i ever have the money i will be getting a green acrylic top, and the battery is under the heatsink but keep in mind those batteries usually last 5-10 years i dont think itll be an issue.

I just stumbled onto this thread. I have 4 SR-2's and seem to be having some issues with overheating. Your waterblock may be a solution. I don't seem to have a problem with the CPU's as I keep the ambient to 68 F and have dual fan Cooler Masters on them and only run 161 Clock. I am running Dual Nvidia 2550's so I suspect nF200 heat problems. What are pro's cons of delrin vs copper tops. Certainly delrin should be cheaper and top isn't used for heat transfer. 2nd option is make vs buy. I have already cnc'd my X2 and X3. X2 full ball screws with anti-backlash nuts. X3 still in progress on ACME screws. Works but I got sidetracked to getting my cluster fully functional. Thanks

Welcome to the forums! You won't have the travel on the X2 to make this (if its stock). I started on the X2 and quickly realized the Y limitations. Thats when I had to upgrade it. I doubt there will be much different with copper vs Delrin tops.

Besides looks, wouldn't the biggest difference between the two be the ability for the copper top to do chilled water. The delrin top could crack under the colder temps, where as the copper top obviously would not.
