Probably because they're ramping up production for the 3080 ti before it launches. I expect stock to go back to how it was a few months ago when the 3080 ti releases.

Hopefully, lower production across the board would be an absolute nightmare.

When FutureShop was still around, I preferred BestBuy. Once they shuttered FutureShop, I found BestBuy went downhill. I also really hate that they list third party sellers. I generally don't trust third party sellers, and prefer the reliability of buying directly. Even on Amazon, I will look for "Shipped by and Sold By Amazon".

Alot of the sites that notifies you already have tons of people scampering for the card once it is announced. someone will get lucky, but it seems moreso that botters will win.

There is no hope with best buy, here our local store has not seen a proper gpu in months, and the online ones are bought in the first 3 seconds. My page loads longer than that.

Discord servers or stock streams. -- Best Buy has been dropping overpriced AMD cards laterly (like, $1000CAD over reference). It's funny seeing what is probably the same card popping up again and again as bots/people buy it and return it.
